Chapter 69 - Blood angel returns

Ray couldn't contain his excitement anymore; he shook from the feeling that called him. With the help of Marian, all of his stats had reached 1000. As a stat point, it was in the end stages of level 5, but for Ray it was the point that he gained his title: the blood angel.

The earth and the sky were nothing more than pawns in his hands; if he commanded, the world had to follow.

"The whole world is watching, so let's give them a show."

A sea of blades rose from the ground as twenty dark crystals broke in it at the same time. The hell flames looked for a way out, but the blood kept them at bay.

The blood sea changed form into a big dragon; its roars fired hell flame toward Jade, but all Jade did was to stand there as two hands came out of the sky, followed by a heavenly dragon.

The heavenly dragon absorbed the hell flames like they were nothing and flew to the ground to clash with the blood dragon.

Four hands grew to take form from his waist; with six hands, Ray summoned six swords that emitted the light of the moon. Each enchanted with Marian's magic to deal with spiritual matters easier.

White flames gave a new sun to the base while two dragons clashed; their fangs tried to tear apart their target. Although the heavenly dragon was stronger, the blood dragon had infinite regeneration for its wounds.

"How about this?" Jade giggled, "In the end your magic is always the weaker one."

A meteor as big as a city penetrated the sky, coming down with an incredible speed to crush anything beneath it.

"You think I'm not ready for your signature move?" His smile grew wider; twelve monoliths around them started to shine with shine flames. Six of them were lighted with white crystals, and the six others with dark crystals.

Unlike most of Jade's magic, her meteor was only a physical object that she could summon at any time that she wanted.

A white web with small holes made out of both hell flame and heavenly ices at perfect balance so that none of them touched each other.

Not long after he had become an Outcast, Ray had discovered something new: if he let the aura of his Outcast leak from his body, all of his control over spiritual form would be lost in an instant.

His glitches started from his wings and slowly took over his whole body. Ray activated five armors at the same time around his body. "Boom."

With nothing to control the monoliths, heaven and hell clashed together. A big light devoured the world around them; the explosion had no sound, but it destroyed anything in its way.

All the ground and buildings that once were a base disappeared into thin air, and all that was left of the meteor was dust.

Dust blinded everyone in the area. Jade saw a shadow in the dust flying toward her; her vanguard came in front of her to protect her. With her shield, no harm was done to her or her angels.

"It should be a clone; where is the real body?" Jade whispered to herself; it was one of Ray's common tricks.

From her back another shadow appeared; with no care, she unleashed a wave to cut off his hands, but with the impact, the whole body melted away.

"What?" She turned around to face the first shadow; however, it was too late. Ray came into her view with a sword in his hand. "Where is his other hand?"

Her vanguard charged to Ray; their blades clashed as suddenly something cut through the air. A hand cut from the wrist holding a sword, before Jade could react, the sword penetrated her armor and entered her shoulder.

The warmth of blood broke the Jade's surprise. "I have been injured???"

The dust left with the wind, and their figures were visible to the whole world.

Ray's body, even with his armor, was burned to the point that half of his skin didn't resemble a human, with his wrist being cut down.

A skull tried to heal him, but his burns were behind the level of his healing level; only his wrist returned.

Nothing remained of the left side of his face, but his eye still was shining brightly. The thrill of a fight to this extent brought back memories.

Jade took out the sword from her shoulder as her angels awaited her orders; the difference was 5 levels, but still he had been able to hurt her.

Her eyes shone with killing intent. "I will kill you."

Ray tried his best to not summon Orcus; instead of it, two hands on his back were both equipped with machine guns.

The rapid gunshots broke the silence; each bullet getting near her, instead of hitting her, exploded into a cloud of nuclear radiation. Both of them were designed to kill with no failure.

Jade sacrificed her bow and anger to take all the damage; her hands swung in the sky as a staff shined in her hand.

The sky above them changed to a golden color; Ray only watched as the sky everywhere the eye could see was golden.

"Sky blade."

Millions of blades fell from the sky; among them, some were in a physical form and some in a spiritual state. There was no way to stop them completely.

"Your time's up." Ray pointed at the clock above their heads. Sky Blade was not even in the top five of her deadliest moves; if she fought more seriously, Ray could actually die.

Jade said with a disappointed tone, "You survive for today, but you will be on my list from now on."

With that, she just teleported out of the area, and all the swords in the sky turned into white clouds and followed her.

Ray sighed out of relief; he didn't know if any of them could control themselves if the fight continued.

"This burn should take a long fucking time to heal."

The base had been completely destroyed; trillions of dollars were lost in just twenty minutes, but for Ray it was the best outcome.

"Now, I will become the real vice general."

A helicopter came from far away to pick him up; he dismissed his wings. "When the stats are gone, the real pain should begin."

That day an article with one title broke the records of the most viewed post on the internet:

Blood Angel is the true savior.
