"You don't look happy." A man sitting next to him said with an anxious tone.
Both of them were sitting on a sofa in the middle of the ball; all around them people were dancing with the lights, some were having their times with their families, and some in the corners pleased their other desires.
Ray's eyes were on one person at the corner of the hall; the person seemed to be blended with the shadows. He returned to his assistant, John. In the few years that they had spent together, Ray had trusted him to control his finances. "There is nothing to be happy about."
"But... But all these things, this tower, all these women, all the respect... You don't want them?" His black eyes were focused on Ray.
"For me, they are merely tools. I enjoy their existence; however, I am not obsessed with them like many others that you can see." Rays pointed at many in there that were drowned in the pleasures.
John's eyes locked on a purple woman on the other side. "Then what makes you happy?"
"Go find some fun; it's not that deep. It's a great party; enjoy it." Ray didn't need to tell him to get lost for a second time. His small figure disappeared among the crowd.
"Didn't expect you to look at the world like that." Ray knew that sweet voice; he had invited her personally.
"Miss Kaine, I didn't expect you to listen to others' conversations." Ray smiled at his new company. Her dress was revealing enough for Ray to see the nipples behind the thin fabric. Very few actually wore proper clothes for such parties, and one of them moved to Ray's side too.
"Professor Kaine, Ray. Sorry I was late; I had a few problems on the way." Rose's face was red from embarrassment. She had missed Ray's speech and was late too.
"Rose, good to see you make it too." Like always, she had worn a long dress that showed no skin. Her ponytail was a little looser than her usual form too. Ray pointed at her side.
Rose sat by his side, waiting for Kaine. Kaine also picked up a chair and sat in front of them. "Miss Icefang, good to see you here."
"Professor, I made predictions for all the things you asked me for; it's going to be ready in three days..." Rose was excited about her academy. Ray had given her his title as Kaine's assistant; that made her so much busier around the academy.
Kaine smiled and said, "Dear, there is time for that too."
Ray summoned a few maids to bring them drinks and anything the women by her side needed. Many eyes were staring at the party of three; there were already many rumors about Ray's love life, and they multiplied the gossip around him many times.
"Marian is better suited for him…" A woman told her friend in a corner.
"Bet he sleeps with both of them..."
"I would share him too..."
Ray didn't mind the looks on them and continued talking normally with Rose and Kaine. Apparently there was going to be a large tournament by the end of the year, and Rose wanted to participate.
"You don't participate?" Kaine asked Ray with curious eyes. Getting the new vice general to participate in the tournament meant a lot more motivation for other participants.
"Not really, I want to take some time off and focus on business for some time." Ray had already made preparations for his absence in the next weeks.
Kaine raised her eyebrows: "Oh, I hope you succeed in whatsoever job you have. Although I have high hopes for Miss Icefang."
Ray's hand on Rose's ass squeezed her before she could answer, "Ahh... I will do my best..."
Kaine saw Ray's hand on her; for some time now, the number of moans and the smell of sex around them had increased as the party went on.

Kaina laughed as her legs moved on Ray's lap. "You thought about it a lot, it seems."
"Maybe." His hand roamed around Rose's body. "Rose, are you ok with this?"
"Ah... I don't have a particular problem." She saw all the curious faces outside wondering what was going on.
Kaine dragged her leg to his bulge. "Before that I need an explanation. What does this turn us into?"
Ray stared into her eyes: "It can be just one night, or it can be something better, although I would rather you break up with your husband before we enter any sort of serious thing."
"You know that my son is your age, right?" Kaine felt guilty about it, but the temptation was too much to pass.
Rose kissed Ray's shoulders, waiting for them to finish their conversation.
Ray said with a genuine tone, "I don't care. There will be a lot of time to think about it; in the end it's your decision." Even though he wanted Kaine to be part of his harem, if he couldn't trust her with some things, it was going to be useless.
"You definitely know your way with words, young man." She spread her legs in front of him slowly in a seductive manner. "If you know your way in other ways too, I might agree."
Ray smiled at the view of the black panties.
