Mingxing Zhai!
Located in Feiyun Slope, it was one of Liyue Harbor's most renowned jewelry shops.
Whether jade pendants, gemstone rings, or exquisitely crafted ornaments, each item displayed here was a rare treasure—objects that ordinary people could only admire from afar.
Naturally, the clientele who frequented this place were either wealthy merchants or individuals of distinguished status.
Stepping into the shop, the elegant interior immediately caught the eye. Soft light reflected off crystal displays, illuminating rows of finely arranged jewelry that sparkled with restrained luxury rather than ostentation.
"Welcome to Mingxing Zhai. May I ask what you're looking for today?"
A young shop assistant approached with a courteous smile, her tone respectful yet practiced.
Luo Li glanced around casually before answering,
"Just browsing. If there's anything interesting, we'll take a look."
The assistant nodded, clearly experienced enough to recognize customers who truly had the means to browse without concern. She gestured toward the inner displays.
"Please take your time. Our newest collection has just arrived."
Noelle followed closely behind, her eyes wide as she carefully examined the ornaments in the display cases. Though she tried to remain composed, her curiosity was hard to hide.
"These are all so beautiful…" she murmured softly.
Eula, on the other hand, folded her arms and looked around with feigned nonchalance, though her gaze lingered far longer than she would admit.
"Jewelry like this… hmph. Liyue really knows how to flaunt its wealth."
Raiden Makoto observed quietly from Luo Li's side. Unlike the others, she wasn't particularly interested in the ornaments themselves, but rather in the craftsmanship and cultural symbolism behind them. Each piece reflected Liyue's long history and refined aesthetics.
Soon, a particular display drew the group's attention.
Inside the case lay several rings carved from translucent jade, their surfaces smooth and luminous, faintly glowing under the light.
"These are called Glazed Crescent Moons," the shop assistant explained promptly.
"They're crafted from the finest jade mined in Liyue and are extremely popular among young couples."
"Glazed Crescent Moons?" Luo Li repeated, slightly intrigued.
The assistant nodded enthusiastically.
"Yes. Each ring symbolizes harmony and enduring bonds. This batch is extremely limited—only ten pieces in total."
Without hesitation, Luo Li said,
"I'll take all of them."
The assistant froze for a moment.
"…All of them?"
Even Noelle and Eula were startled, turning to look at him at the same time.
"All ten?" Noelle asked hesitantly.
Luo Li nodded calmly, as though he were merely purchasing groceries.
"Mm. Wrap them up."
The assistant quickly recovered, her smile widening as she bowed slightly.
"Of course. Please wait a moment."
Just as she turned to prepare the order, a clear voice sounded from the entrance.
"Wait."
Everyone instinctively looked toward the door.
A young woman stood there, posture straight and presence striking. Her long hair was styled neatly, and her sharp, clear eyes carried both confidence and authority. Though her attire was elegant, it was restrained rather than extravagant.
The shop assistant immediately recognized her and hurried forward.
"My apologies—Lady Yuheng. You've arrived just a bit late. The latest batch of Glazed Crescent Moons has already been fully reserved by this guest."
The young woman—Keqing, one of the Liyue Qixing—paused slightly at the news.
"So they're all sold out already…" she said, her tone composed though tinged with faint regret.
Her gaze shifted toward Luo Li.
Seeing her reaction, Luo Li spoke up casually,
"If you're interested, I don't mind giving one to you."
Keqing was taken aback for a brief moment before meeting his eyes directly.
"…Are you certain?"
"Of course," Luo Li replied.
"I bought more than I need anyway."
After a moment's consideration, Keqing nodded.
"Then I'll accept your kindness. Thank you."
The shop assistant hurriedly adjusted the order, carefully setting one ring aside.
As the purchase was completed, Luo Li picked up one of the rings and gently took Raiden Makoto's hand, slipping it onto her finger as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Makoto glanced down at the ring, then at him.
"…You didn't even ask."
"You didn't refuse," Luo Li replied lightly.
She gave a soft, helpless smile but made no move to remove it.
Seeing this, Eula couldn't help herself.
"What about me?" she blurted out, then immediately stiffened, realizing what she had said.
Noelle, face slightly red, also looked on expectantly.
Luo Li sighed quietly and handed a ring to each of them.
"I didn't forget."
Both girls brightened instantly.
On the other side, Keqing accepted her ring with a nod.
"I'll remember this favor," she said seriously.
"If you ever need assistance in Liyue—within reasonable limits—I'll help."
With that, she took her leave, already returning her thoughts to official matters.
Watching her depart, the shop assistant finally exhaled in relief.
Today's customers… every single one of them was extraordinary.
