Knowing he was in Kaya's mansion, Bai Yun chose not to meet up with Luffy and the others, but stayed behind to enjoy himself.
After lunch, Bai Yun came to visit Kaya. After getting permission, he opened the door and entered the room.
Upon entering, he saw only Kaya and a meticulous young man in the room, wearing glasses and a suit.
Bai Yun recognized the young man as Kuro at a glance.
Kuro remained silent, tears still in the corners of his eyes. It had to be said, his acting was truly good. If it wasn't for the scheduled time of his plan, he would have completely seen himself as the butler Klahadore, not the pirate, Kuro of a Hundred Plans.
He had originally intended to leave, but realizing the person who entered was Bai Yun, Kuro stayed, seemingly observing Bai Yun.
Bai Yun felt Kuro's gaze, looked up and met his eyes, his expression utterly calm, without even a ripple, as if looking at a stranger.
Indeed, a complete stranger.
Although he knew Kuro's identity, he still had to keep up appearances. With a smile, Bai Yun said,
"You must be Mr. Klahadore, the butler. Mr. Merry told me about you."
"My name is Bai Yun."
"I've come to thank Miss Kaya for taking me in and finding a doctor to treat my injuries."

Kaya expressed her surprise, and after realizing her mistake, immediately apologized.

"You flatter me."
Bai Yun replied, thinking, no matter how handsome I am, can I be as handsome as Usopp in your heart?
...After chatting with Kaya for a while, Bai Yun could be considered a social terrorist.
Kaya hadn't talked to anyone outside of the mansion staff and Usopp for a long time, and she enjoyed her conversation with Bai Yun. The two became friends right then.

The sound of Kuro's leather shoes on the long corridor echoed continuously.
Kuro led the way, Bai Yun followed behind, looking at the guy's straight back, with a white cloth draped over his arm. He really thought of himself as a butler.
Bai Yun smiled, "Butler Kuro is really trying to put an elephant in a fridge."
Bai Yun's words reached Kuro's ears, and the sound of his shoes on the floor immediately stopped.
Kuro turned around, still smiling, and said, "My name is Klahadore, and what does 'putting an elephant in a fridge' mean?"
Bai Yun returned the smile, "It means, you're really putting on an act!"
Kuro's smile instantly vanished, "What do you mean?"
"Stop pretending, Kuro of a Hundred Plans, I'm a pirate too."
Bai Yun directly revealed Kuro's true identity.
Kuro's eyes visibly widened a little, but he quickly adjusted.
"I didn't expect anyone to recognize me."
"Indeed, I used to be a pirate, but after being saved by the young lady's parents three years ago, to repay them, I became a butler and stopped being a pirate."
Bai Yun laughed, still playing the part.
"In three years, perhaps you've even fooled yourself."
"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone."
"Rumor has it that Kuro of a Hundred Plans is very clever, acquiring much treasure with his wisdom."
"But he's also a fanatical person who absolutely won't allow his plans to go wrong. If they do, he'll even kill his own men."

"I won't do anything before your scheme begins."

After speaking, Bai Yun directly walked past Kuro. Not knowing the way was all fake; it was just a lie to get Kuro to walk with him and allow him to speak his mind freely.
A close-up of Kuro showed his face turning sinister, his teeth nearly grinding to dust, as he forcefully suppressed his anger.
He didn't understand where this brat came from, or why he knew his plan.
"Three years! My plan cannot fail!"
"Then tomorrow morning at dawn."
"I will make you die a painful death."
Kuro muttered to himself, then left the mansion.
