In the blink of an eye, it was late at night, and the small village had fallen into deep darkness.
Behind one of the houses, four men in black bodysuits stood silently.
After exchanging a few hand signals, one of the men—a tall, lean figure—suddenly formed a hand seal and whispered:
"Secret technique: Camouflage Invisibility!"
As soon as the words left his lips, his body completely merged with the darkness, vanishing without a trace.

*What a shame. Why doesn't Naraku-chan ever take a bath?*
Senju Chakuma sat by the window, yawning boredly. He glanced alternately at the activity outside and at Naraku's direction inside the room.
But the area was pitch-black, and after staring for a long time, Chakuma couldn't see anything.
*Sigh, if only I had a Byakugan right now.*
Meanwhile, Uchiha Itachi, who was lying in bed, wasn't actually asleep. He was secretly peeking at Naraku's sleeping face from under the covers.
Just as he was getting engrossed in his observation, Naraku turned over.
Uchiha Itachi: ...
*As expected, not being able to hold her is just no good.*
*Boom!*
A violent explosion shattered the night's tranquility.
Senju Chakuma jolted to his feet, shouting at the top of his lungs:
"Trouble! Trouble! Enemy attack! Enemy attack!"
Of course, he didn't need to yell. The deafening explosion had already startled Naraku and Itachi, who both leaped out of bed in an instant.
"The explosion came from next door... it must be Teacher Shinnosuke's room..."
Uchiha Itachi frowned, his expression grave. He hadn't revealed the full extent of his fears, mainly to avoid alarming Naraku and Senju Chakuma. He suspected Teacher Shinnosuke had likely been killed in the explosion.
"Forget about that for now," Naraku ordered immediately. "This room is too cramped. Itachi, you and Chakuma go find the client and protect them. I'll go check the situation outside!"
Naraku didn't hesitate, taking charge instantly.
"No, that's too dangerous! We should..." Itachi began to protest, but Naraku cut him off sharply.
"Itachi-kun, this is a mission!"
Itachi gritted his teeth, flung open the door, and dashed out. Chakuma hesitated for a few seconds before following Itachi's lead.
Meanwhile, Uchiha Naraku kicked through the windowpane, her two-tomoe Sharingan activating instantly.
Outside, the Camouflage Ninja waited silently, his Camouflage Invisibility jutsu concealing him against the wall. He anticipated the children would emerge to investigate, whether by peeking their heads out or leaping through the window. Either way, he planned to end their lives in an instant.
With a crash, the window shattered.
The first child was coming out!
A cruel smile spread across the Camouflage Ninja's lips.
Just as he expected, a second later, a girl in a blue short-sleeved shirt leaped through the broken window.
*Is this girl a ninja? She's just a kid! Well, whatever. As long as she screams when I kill her!*
As the Camouflage Ninja moved to kill the adorable girl, he noticed her suddenly turn her head and look directly at his hiding spot.
In the pitch-black night, the first thing that caught his eye were the girl's blood-red eyes.
*What's that? The Sharingan?*
*How could a child this young possess the Sharingan? Could she be older than me, just appearing young?*
The thought flashed through the Camouflage Ninja's mind.
*No, my chances in a one-on-one fight against the Sharingan are too low. I need to retreat and join my teammates below to kill this woman!*
Without hesitation, the man turned to flee. But Naraku was not the kind of woman to let him escape so easily!
"Subjugate with Might!"
Naraku slammed her foot against the wall, pivoting with lightning speed. She launched herself toward the Camouflage Ninja like an arrow from a drawn bow.
*So fast? This speed is impossible for a child. She's definitely an adult!*
*Damn it! This is why I should have rejected this obsession with youth!*
The Camouflage Ninja couldn't afford to remain a sitting duck. He kicked off the wall, attempting to change direction and escape Naraku's attack range.
But it was too late.
"Running? Skull-Crushing Strike!"
The Camouflage Ninja's face paled in terror. He couldn't comprehend why his body was suddenly flying backward against his will. What kind of monster had he provoked?
"A sight to behold!"
Naraku grabbed the Camouflage Ninja by the back of his neck and yanked him into the air.
The ninja's face was a mask of bewilderment. He tried to struggle, but his body refused to obey. He tried to scream, but his mouth wouldn't move.
*How is this possible? Just moments ago, I was the hunter. How did I end up like this?*
*Boom!*
The moment Naraku slammed the Camouflage Ninja into the ground, the earth shattered, sending debris flying in all directions. Even the sleeves of her blue short-sleeved shirt flapped violently in the shockwave.
As the area of destruction widened, nearby buildings were affected, and even the inn's front door collapsed.
*This... I tried to control my strength. How did it still affect the buildings?*
*Will I have to pay for the damages...?*
These were Naraku's thoughts in that instant. As for the Camouflage Ninja...
He had no more thoughts. His head had shattered upon impact with the ground, resembling a smashed watermelon.
From the inn's rooftop, Sarutobi Shinnosuke witnessed the entire scene.
He couldn't help but touch his own head. *This girl is truly violent.*
*Is she really an Uchiha? I've never seen an Uchiha fight like this before.*
*It seems ninjas of this level no longer pose any challenge for her.*
In an instant, he vanished from his spot and reappeared behind a ninja lurking around the corner, preparing to ambush Naraku.
"Nani?"
"Ah!"
Sarutobi Shinnosuke precisely plunged a kunai into the ninja's neck.
He formed a hand seal, and his body dissolved into a pool of blue water.

One minute earlier.
In the dimly lit corridor, Uchiha Itachi and Senju Chakuma swiftly moved to the room two doors down.
Itachi listened carefully for any sounds inside before cautiously knocking on the door.
To their surprise, no one answered.
Itachi stepped back and kicked the door open.
But the moment the door shattered, a tall figure suddenly appeared behind Chakuma, slashing wildly at him with a short sword.
The ambush was so sudden that Chakuma had no time to react.
The blade loomed larger in his vision as he instinctively raised his hands to block.
"Haha, die!" the ninja wielding the sword cackled maniacally.
But he hadn't anticipated the small figure that abruptly appeared before him—another Itachi. This second Itachi kicked the ninja's wrist.
Caught off guard, the ninja's grip loosened, sending the short sword flying into the air.
