The morning birds were chirping incessantly, perhaps having caught a plump worm.
Naraku, however, was in a rather unfortunate state. Starving, she had arrived at Training Ground Six with Itachi shortly after 5 a.m.
Because they had arrived so early, the Sixth Training Ground was completely deserted.
"Naraku, Father told me last night that this Sarutobi Shinnosuke is the Third Hokage's eldest son. During the Third Shinobi World War, he served as the captain of the Anbu directly under the Hokage, a true high-ranking member of the Anbu."
"His code name is: Green Sprout. He has nearly inherited his father's abilities, and is said to be a ninja without any weaknesses."
Naraku nodded. As expected of the Uchiha clan head, the plot to rebel was now confirmed, since they knew everything about the Anbu.
A ninja without weaknesses? It's nothing special, really. There were plenty of impressive titles in the world of the Hokage.
Salamander Hanzō was even called a demigod, and in the end, he was still killed. The original Hokage series didn't even mention this person. At best, he was probably just an Elite Jonin, right?
Just as they were talking, Senju Sakima walked into the training ground from outside.
The moment he entered, his sharp eyes immediately noticed the beautiful white stockings on Uchiha Naraku's legs today.
Perhaps it was because he was in his youth, but seeing a beautiful woman's legs made a warm sensation rush to his nose. He quickly touched it, thankfully, he hadn't started bleeding, otherwise, he would have lost face.

Naraku had seen a lot of this in his past life. At classmates' reunions, couldn't they at least act like they knew what they were doing?
Naraku probably played the part too well back then, so…
"Thank you, senior. Please, come at me with everything you've got."
Uchiha Itachi bowed and thanked him, his attitude very respectful, but the words he spoke were not polite at all.
Just kidding, it's fine if you look at my wife's legs, and it's okay if you look down on me, but what are you trying to do, acting like a hero in front of Naraku? Are you trying to steal my wife?

Naraku watched as their eyes sparked with electricity. He scratched his head. What was up with Itachi today? Did he eat gunpowder?

Naraku had no choice but to mediate, and the two of them calmed down.
Itachi returned to his quiet stance, while Senju Sakima turned his face away like an ordinary child.
As expected, not long after Naraku spoke, a cloud of white smoke appeared out of nowhere three or four meters in front of them, and Sarutobi Shinnosuke appeared in the center of the field, his face flushed.
(Another Body Flicker Technique… It seems this teacher is particularly good at this technique, and his Body Flicker Technique doesn't even show hand seals. I'll have to pay special attention later.)
"You're early, good. Let's begin now."
Sarutobi Shinnosuke really did pull two bells out of his pocket, and then continued:
"This is a test. Those who pass will join Team Thirteen, those who fail will be dismissed."
"The rules are simple. See the two bells in my hands? As long as you snatch a bell from me, you pass. Ninjutsu, taijutsu, genjutsu, you can use any method you like, understand? Got it?"
"Sensei, you only have two bells. Is this a way to divide us?"
Itachi Uchiha asked calmly.
"No, it's just a simple way to tell you that at least one of you will be eliminated, or that all of you will be eliminated."
Sarutobi Shinnosuke glanced at Itachi casually. This child's insight was extraordinary.
Indeed, he was worthy of being a genius of the Uchiha clan.
"Haha, you haven't figured it out with such an obvious hint, and you're still trying to divide us? We were rivals from the start. Looks like Naraku and I are the ones who passed."
Senju Sakima chuckled.
Uchiha Itachi didn't respond, probably not wanting to bother with him.
Although Senju Sakima was grinding his teeth in anger, Sarutobi Shinnosuke clearly didn't care about the teammates' conflict.
He simply said calmly:
"Since there are no issues, let's begin now."
The moment Sarutobi Shinnosuke finished speaking, Uchiha Naraku began to form hand seals:
"Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!"
Sarutobi Shinnosuke wasn't surprised at all. The first hand seal he saw Naraku make told him it was the Great Fireball Technique.
After all, they were Uchiha. No matter if you were a Jonin or Chunin, the first thing they'd do was hit you with a Great Fireball.
Almost in sync with Naraku, Sarutobi Shinnosuke began forming hand seals as well:
"Fire Style: Flame Bullet!"
But he regretted it the moment he released the Flame Bullet. Uchiha Naraku's Great Fireball was a staggering ten meters in diameter!
It instantly swallowed his Flame Bullet!
Sarutobi Shinnosuke was truly taken aback. How could this little girl have such a massive Chakra reserve?
He'd seen his fair share of Uchiha Elite Jonin, but their Great Fireballs paled in comparison to this little girl's.
Sarutobi Shinnosuke wasn't fazed in the slightest that his Flame Bullet had been swallowed. His hand seals moved so fast that no one could even see them.
"Earth Style: Earth Release Wall!"
A massive earth wall rose from the ground. The next instant, the Great Fireball Technique slammed into the wall, causing a violent explosion!
Witnessing such a large-scale clash of ninjutsu, both Uchiha Itachi and Senju Sakima were taken aback.
One was thinking that Naraku's Chakra reserves were advancing way too fast, while the other was starting to doubt his own abilities.
But a second later, Sakima shook his head. What was he doubting? It was just that her Chakra reserves were a bit larger. That wasn't anything to worry about. He'd show off a bit to the little beauty and let her see how amazing he was!
The next instant, Naraku and Itachi seized the opportunity to slip into the woods. The odds of winning a physical fight against an Elite Jonin in such an open space were too low. It was better to launch a sneak attack from the cover of the trees.
Senju Sakima, however, remained standing where he was.
He stood there with his arms crossed, a ridiculous sight. A truly strong ninja doesn't need to sneak around.
They can be open and honest!
"Come on, sensei, let's have a match!"
Senju Sakima roared as he charged into the smoke from the explosion.
