Three months have passed since the banquet; my rank has not increased. I feel strange, not bad exactly, but I never thought I would find a wall so soon. My mana control and that of everyone in general have increased a lot. About my telekinesis, Kilren told me that there is an old man who is an expert in telekinesis. I hope he can help me," Huis thought as he manipulated a pencil and wrote what he thought.
"I don't know anything about Murd after the banquet; according to Amelia, he is convincing Cynthia to take away his position as primus," he thought while laughing.
"I am convinced that Verju is in love with Amelia or at least likes her."
The pencil moved incredibly fast.
"I guess it was obvious; they spend a lot of time together training. Churn tried to join in, but it's too much... how to put it?"
The pencil continued to increase speed.
"Uncontrollable, in these three months I don't know if his rank would have increased, but his martial skill is by far much better; probably in a fight without magic, he would destroy us in 96% of the cases."
"Kida, on the other hand, is a genius if magic is concerned," he said out loud this time.
"There must be some connection between our talents and us having played the game or some reason why we are so talented; maybe it sounds arrogant, but we really are absolute monsters. Something must be related. My theory couldn't work because Verju is... quite untalented...."
"Well, let's continue, Kida. His control of lightning magic is incredible; probably with some mana stone, he can throw thunder without stopping."
The pencil continued writing.
"But it seems like his favorites are chain lightning and lightning spears; they're pretty fun to watch."
"We arrived at point B."
Huis released another book to continue writing.
"I am totally sure that we are twenty years before the events of the game. The existence of people as talented as Amelia and Lana was never mentioned; according to them, there are many talents in this generation.
"Something must have happened..." I whisper without writing.
"Possibly, an attack by some terrorist group; if we consider the demonic cult as a terrorist group, the possibilities could increase. We know that HE was not only defeated, he was humiliated by Marres, the God of War of the demon cult. Sending one of the 11 'Gods' could be enough to wipe out the entire Empire."
"I don't see many more possibilities; I don't think Cynthia will allow another mistake."
"We should remain cautious and reach an SS force as soon as possible; at some point Kida should go with the elves to increase his capabilities."
"Churn maybe should go to the Murim, but Verju... shit, I have no idea what to do with him; something will occur to me."
"I always considered Circe a stupidly dangerous world, but the empire is too peaceful; there is something that happened in these 20 years, and we have no idea."
The pencil had finally stopped writing.
Huis stood up and dropped the pencil, grabbed the book, and put it in a small trunk next to the previous book.
"Logbook number three finished," he said quietly as the morning sun covered his face.
Far away, noises of swords, shields being hit, and screams could be heard on the training field.
"Can you control yourself, please?" Verju said as he manipulated the small shield he had on his arm.
"I really have to keep using this," I yell at Amelia.
"Yes, it's important," Amelia responded, laughing.
"I'm controlling myself a lot," said little Churn in front of Verju while he lifted up and delivered 2 quick kicks that Verju was able to stop.
"I can handle this," Verju thought.
"You have improved; I will increase the power a little." Churn said calmly.
A faint red light appeared in Murd's hands, and he increased his speed slightly.
His movements began with quick fists, small palm strikes, and attempts to snatch the shield or provide some grip.
Verju could only resist for a couple of seconds because of the hundreds of times he had faced each other.
In a quick movement, Churn approached Verju, grabbing his arm. Verju had no time to react, and 5 fists appeared in front of him, leaving him unconscious and bleeding.
Amelia calmly walked over to where Churn and Verju were fighting and threw a towel over Verju.
"You went too far again..." Amelia said to Churn.
Churn looked at her but ignored her words.
"It's moving very slowly; the fact that you think it happened to me is proof of that. I didn't even pay attention to it," Churn said somewhat sadly.
"I know...." Amelia said, whispering.
"But it's being fun," Churn said, changing his mood. "It's not as bad as it was at the beginning; I'm sure that in a couple of years it will be much stronger," he added.
"Let's hope..." Amelia said without looking at churn.
"I'll go eat something and force Huis to use healing magic," Churn spoke.
"You still don't want to use it?" Amelia asked, laughing.
"Yes, that idiot says he doesn't want to be the group's healer."
"Amelia laughed at Churn's comment.
"Okay, okay, then I'll make him cure it," Amelia said, laughing.
Churn turned around before saying one last thing, "I'll be in the usual garden eating; goodbye."
"We'll be there," Amelia said, laughing lightly.
After Churn disappeared, he spoke, "Now, like shit, I bring Huis."
He began to form a plan to get Huis out of his room....
"I got it," Amelia laughed like a villain, the laugh reminiscent of a boy with purple eyes.
twenty minutes later.
"Why did you bring me? I agreed to stay here, and you make me get up so early," Lana complained to Amelia.
Amelia ignored Lana.
Resigned, Lana just tied her hair and finished putting on a big sweater.
"We're here...." Amelia whispered.
"Isn't that Huis' room?" Lana asked as she scratched her eyes.
"Yes..." Amelia whispered.
"So what are we doing here?" Amelia asked again.
"We need to get him out of his room."
"For what?" Lana looked at Amelia, confused.
"For something important." Amelia acted as if she were on mission.
Amelia was distracted for a second by her performance, and Lana stopped and knocked on the door.
"What did you do..." Amelia wanted to claim Lana, but the door opened.
"What" Huis came out still wearing his pajamas.
His gaze widened when he saw Lana and Amelia but quickly returned to his usual tired and annoyed look.
"What the hell do they want and why so early?"
"Ameli..." Lana wanted to speak but was interrupted by a jump from Amelia.
Amelia had jumped directly towards Huis to knock him out; Huis couldn't react and fell unconscious.
"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO, AMELIA?" Lana said.
"I didn't do anything; I just put him to sleep for a moment. If I had told him, he wouldn't have wanted to help us.
Lana looked at Amelia resignedly, and the scream she had made had consumed her energy, so she did not respond and prepared to follow Amelia, who had Huis on her shoulders.
"I shouldn't have opened the door for him," Lana whispered.
"What did you say?" Amelia asked, confused.
"Nothing," Lana said.
Already at the training field, Verju was still lying there fainting.
"Churn happened again," Lana asked.
"Yes, wake up, Huis, and make a cute puppy face, Lana; I'll do the same."
"Okay?" Lana said strangely.
Amelia summoned a small group of runes, and an icy liquid appeared.
This liquid touched Huis's body, making him react strongly.
"AHHHHH!" Huis screamed when he woke up.
It took him a second to regain consciousness, and the first thing he saw was 2 women making cute faces in front of him.
"Can you cure Verju, please?"
The shock that Huis had had completely disappeared, and now only a look of disgust appeared on his face.
"I will, but please stop making that face."
"It always works," Amelia said, laughing.
Huis stood quickly, walking away from Amelia and Lana; the cute faces always made him sick.
He raised his hand and began to conjure.
[ᚲᛚᚲ ᛚᚲ ᛚᚲ ᛚ] A water-like liquid appeared and began to heal Verju.
"Couldn't I send him to the infirmary?" Huis asked.
"No..." Amelia responded without giving another explanation.
"AND WHY?" Huis said somewhat irritated.
"They wouldn't let him continue training," Amelia responded.
Huis could only stare at Amelia and whisper, "Idiot."
The sound of a large door was heard in the field.
"Idiots, I had to eat alone again." Churn had arrived somewhat upset.
Churn fixed his gaze on Huis, who was healing Verju.
"Are you still healing him?" Churn asked.
"They brought me in recently," Huis answered calmly.
"So Amelia, in the half hour that we didn't see each other, you left Verju lying in the middle of the training field."
"Eh, well? I guess…" Amelia said, smiling awkwardly.
"Idiot..." Churn whispered.
"And what is she doing here?" Churn said, pointing to Lana.
"I have no idea; I literally didn't do anything," Lana responded.
"I had a plan... but it didn't turn out the way I wanted," Amelia whispered timidly.
Huis understood something quickly and spoke, "Did you want to bring Lana to freeze me and bring me to the training ground?"
Amelia did not respond, knowing that what Huis said was true.
Churn started to laugh. "What an idiot he is."
Huis and Lana were still laughing, causing Amelia to blush.
The laughter continued, but something interrupted their fun.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" A loud scream scared everyone.
"Where am I...?" Verju was finally healed and awake.
