Chapter 1 - Prologue: Purificator vs Devourer

At a certain time in the future, the world has lost all systems, and only the power of the gods remains.

"The era of the gods is over."

CLANG

The impact of two weapons resonated powerfully. Two cloaked figures staggered backward.

"I never thought you'd become like this, Kaizer." He straightened his white robe, which billowed in the wind.

"I will take your power, Reus." Kaizer stared at Reus, their eyes sharp with wariness.

"Does it have to end this way?" In a flat tone, Reus questioned Kaizer's motive for causing all this.

"Yes, it does. The era of the gods… is over!" Clenching his fist, Kaizer revealed the elemental power he had absorbed.

They stood in the center of a city already reduced to rubble, intending to put an end to each other's intentions.

"If that is the case, I won't allow it to happen." Four wings slowly emerged from Reus's back—bright, white wings.

Kaizer also began to unleash his power, conjuring a dense aura of darkness. He prepared to face Reus once more.

"You have fallen, completely, into endless darkness. I will end all of this." Reus rose, gripping his spear and leveling it at Kaizer.

"Heh, well then. I will end you too." Kaizer's darkness sword began to react; he took flight, ready to attack.

LET US FINISH THIS.

Both charged towards each other. Against the backdrop of a city beyond recognition, the fate of the world rested in their hands.
