Usopp could be seen trying to snipe a bird out of the air.
"It's impossible, it's too far away!" Usopp complained. Kairo didn't give a fuck.
"You have Observation Haki... use it, Captain Usopp."
"Come on Usopp, you got it!" Chopper cheered Usopp on. Usopp looked at Kairo.
'You monster,' he thought to himself, since Kairo purposely brought Chopper here in order to force Usopp to confront his lies. If he failed, Chopper would see he was lying, and Usopp didn't want that.
Fuuuuckkkk.
"Captain Usopp will show you the difference in our skills!" Usopp put on his sniper goggles. He could do this, he could 100% do this.
He focused, watching as the bird flew away. He was nervous. What if he messed up?
No—Chopper was watching. He had to.
As he continued focusing, he saw a light blue outline around the bird. Taking a deep breath, Usopp pulled back on the strings of his slingshot before... letting it loose.
Kairo watched as the pellet flew toward the bird.
"Good job, Usopp."
Usopp was confused. Why was Kairo already saying good job? They didn't know if he hit the bird or not.
Before he could ponder on it for too long, the bird fell from the sky. The creature was graceful, yet it didn't meet such a graceful end. Before the bird could reach the water, a giant sea beast emerged and ate it.
Usopp's mouth dropped open. He was shocked. Wait—he hit that.
"You did it, Usopp! You hit it!" Chopper sounded excited. Usopp, who still had his mouth wide open, was just as shocked that he actually hit it.
"Well of course I did," Usopp said with a smile.
"I can hit a target from an island away!" Usopp boasted.
"Awesome!" Chopper said.
"An island away, you say..." Kairo looked at Usopp.
The sniper, who just a second ago was basking in glory, felt a chill go down his spine. Fuck. Sometimes he forgot that when he lied, Kairo would hold him to that lie.
But... he couldn't back out now.
"Yes, I can. Unfortunately, I cannot do it now. The slingshot I used for it is broken. Until I get it, I cannot replicate this feat," he said gloomily.
Kairo simply nodded his head. "Cool, cool."
Then he looked at Usopp.
"Well, let's train your skill until you get there," Kairo said.
Usopp felt another chill go down his spine.
"Drop down and give me 20."
Usopp looked on the verge of crying, but he couldn't.
"I can do 100 no problem. This is nothing for me!"
So Usopp ended up doing 100 of them. Every exaggerated feat was proven. Kairo was honestly shocked. He didn't expect this guy to be so strong. He didn't look like the type to have that kind of strength.
Granted, the exercises he had him doing were simple, but still.
"When you master this, we can switch to wall and water walking. If you master them, you will always be able to find a vantage point."
Usopp's ears perked up at this. Did he hear ninja technique? Oh hell yes. Heheheh, he would be able to contribute to the crew and stop being a bum.
Well, not like he was a bum to begin with. He was just surrounded by a bunch of people who were simply superhuman. To an average person, being stuck in such a crew was a nightmare—you'd see shit that would scare you shitless. Yet even if Usopp was scared, he still fought. He was a coward, but he was a brave coward.
"I will master this in no time!" Usopp got up and once more began working hard.
Kairo nodded. It seemed like he really wanted to try and be better, to be a stronger person. He didn't want to be a burden to the crew.
Meanwhile, somewhere on the deck, Zoro was lifting some hella heavy weights, swinging them around as if they were a sword.
Robin was reading a book while sunbathing, Nami was making sure they navigated correctly. Their next island should be Jaya—they should get there in a day or two, give or take.
It shouldn't really be that long.
And as for Sanji—
"Get the hell out of the kitchen!"
"Meat!"
The sound of fighting could be heard coming from the kitchen.
"Diable Jambe!"
"Gum-Gum...!"
We do not talk about the shit happening in that bitch.
"Gear Second!"
Okay, food could not be that good.
"Duck," Kairo said, and immediately Usopp ducked, just in time to avoid a kick launched by Sanji that barely missed his head by a few centimeters. Like barely—if he had very long hair, he would have been bald, because his hair would have been burnt.
"You are eating all the food, fatass! Get out!" Sanji shouted.
"Hey, you almost killed me!" Usopp yelled back, his life flashing before his eyes.
A/N Kairo is training Ussop observation haki by the time of the time skip it would go like this in term of strenght.
Kairo for haki.
Luffy for conqueror haki.
Ussop Observation haki would be the best.
Zoro would have better harmanent haki.
By the way this doesn't mean their haki in that term is stronger than Kairo, that doesn't happen till after the timeskip, this is just showing their specialization.
I plan to further explore Nami sensitivity to wheter, like she was able to sense a cyclone after little gardern.
Sanji best at using Geppo and so on.
Chopper probably has better rumble balls.
And Robin can probably like create actual clones of herself, with each clone being roughly as strong as her and being able to use fishman karate among other stuff, she is the love interest so her buff would be higher.
