Chapter 38 - I let him go(38)

He was sitting outside with his goons, dancing a bit, you know, being flamboyant and all that shit. They were going to meet Mister Zero or whatever his name was. He would get proof on this guy—maybe even assassinate him.

Should be easy. He had sand power, and Kairo had water ability. Granted, this was a desert and making more water would be harder, but he could do it.

He just needed to focus. He couldn't lose his focus just because Miss All Sunday looked fine.

He would never make such a rookie mistake.

Here he thought he could hide his shit well.

While he was fucking around, his seal blinked multiple times.

Wasn't that the seal for Luffy?

He went to a corner by himself, created a Haki clone, and sent the clone through the Abyss in order to reach Luffy.

He hoped it wasn't anything stupid, like letting his guard down and Bon Clay escaping.

Clone POV.

As the clone opened his eyes, he was standing in front of Luffy.

"Hey, Ninja guy, you came! So this stuff works." Luffy seemed giddy—wonder why.

"I am not the original, I am merely a clone. What is it that you need to relay to the original?" The clone was being all polite.

"A clone... so cool!" Luffy's eyes seemed to shine... did the novelty not wear off already? The hell.

"Why have I been summoned?" the clone asked, looking at Luffy.

"Oh right, I got lost," Luffy said bluntly.

"How?" The clone questioned. How the fuck could he get lost? All he had to do was stay with the group.

"I wanted food. I saw land and I ran. I thought I found food in this tent, but it was just this weird powder thing," Luffy said, looking disgusted.

"Weird powder?"

"Yeah, it tasted nasty, so I burned it. Then it started raining. This old guy said it's called Dance Powder and it's illegal. I promised him not to tell anyon—"

Luffy paused for a second.

The clone raised an eyebrow.

"The nearest town is that direction." The clone pointed north.

"Alright! Thanks, Ninja-man!" Luffy sounded excited.

The clone sighed.

"You are not going to get lost again, are you?"

"Me... never." Luffy looked so damn guilty.

The clone sighed before placing a hand on Luffy's shoulder.

Instantly, they vanished.

Reappearing inside some ruins where the rest of the crew was. They all seemed dressed up—oh yeah, Bon Clay hadn't revealed their faces yet.

As they appeared, Luffy seemed to be in a trance, his eyes a slight shade of red for a second, looking like his Nika form eyes.

Badump

Kairo looked confused. The hell was his heart beating like that?

As they appeared, Zoro had his sword out, but when he realized it was Kairo and Luffy, he calmed down.

"Found him like two kilometers east of here," Kairo said. Nami looked annoyed—like, for real, Luffy?

Luffy blinked, his eyes turning back to normal.

"Hey guys, look, I'm back!"

Something felt odd. Did Luffy see some shit in the Abyss or something?

Well, maybe the Abyss had a different effect on Devil Fruit wielders. Kairo didn't know. He didn't have a Devil Fruit, nor did he plan on eating one.

As the crew spoke, Kairo's brow raised.

"Where's Bon Clay?"

"He was with Luffy," Nami said.

Nami turned to Luffy, who smiled with a grin.

"Oh yeah, he wanted to go see his family, but he promised to come back, so I let him go."

Kairo looked at Luffy like this was a brand-new level of stupid he had only read about in books.

"You idiot!" Nami shouted, shaking Luffy.

Like, why the hell did he let him go?

Kairo sighed before raising his hand.

The very next second, Bon Clay appeared. He seemed to have been in the middle of running, which had him crash into the wall.

"See? He's back," Luffy said innocently.

The group seemed a bit shocked.

"The seal I placed on you—I can teleport to you, or teleport you to any other marked location. My range currently isn't that great... he wasn't that far. I simply teleported him back," Kairo explained.

"You can do that?" Usopp asked.

Kairo nodded.

"Though I am simply a Haki clone, using this has drained me of my Haki. My form will destabilize soon enough, but before I go, I need something from you all."

"What is it?" Sanji asked.

"I'm happy to help!" Chopper seemed nice. The clone smiled a bit before opening his mouth and revealing what they had to do.

And I mean everyone had a part to do in the plan—everyone.

Vivi could go meet with the Revolutionary. Karoo would deliver a message. While Kairo sabotaged from the inside, the Straw Hats could create a massive distraction, since apart from maybe Miss All Sunday, no one knew what they looked like.

And Luffy... he had a very simple plan. There was no way he could mess it up. He gave the duty of looking after Bon Clay to Nami, which also meant Sanji's ass would always be nearby. The simp power simply could not be tamed.

A/N Both race get full control over their racial ability by the way, So Fishman Lunarien would have fishman karate, be stronger under water, and have lunarien durability and flame control.

And the Giant minks will have the strenght of a giant, and the speed of a mink...so a fast giant who can use enter their sulong form...whenever they want, no need for the moon.

Fusion go, fishman lunarian vs Mink giants, if it's to easy then ancient giant minks.
