Rick woke up slowly, and his body hurt in ways that brought back memories of the night before. Rick was reminded of Myrissa's confession, the way she had gazed at him with such vulnerable hope, and the hours they had spent getting to know each other's bodies in ways that went beyond mere physical pleasure.
"Fuuuuhhhhhhhhh~! Goddammnnnnn~! That was a good fucking session with an ocean dweller!" Rick said, full of happiness. "I can't believe I get to fuck more and more different races soon!"
He reached out with his hand to the space next to him, expecting to feel warmth, but the sheets were cold. And... Myrissa was no longer there.
"Aww, man... I thought I would share some wholesome sessions with her." Rick sighed.
Rick sat up and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes as he looked around his room. The morning light coming through the water outside made patterns on the ceiling that danced.
He could also hear the sounds of Meridia Citadel waking up with the new day.
