The Forbidden Guardian's many eyes were all on the attacking group, and there was intelligence in their depths. This wasn't a stupid creature with a corruption, but this was something that knew how to use tactics and could learn while adapting to every situation.
All six of Cthulhu's arms moved at the same time. Three of them grabbed the ocean below and pulled up huge amounts of corrupted water.
"W-What the...?!" Rick was shocked to see that Cthulhu is about to send an attack.
The other three, including the one that was growing back quickly, reached for the sky and pulled down the storm clouds.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS IT DOING?!" Zara screamed while in shock seeing the Cthulhu literally pull the sky.
The creature was able to control the water and wind, which made a vortex of corruption that spun around its body like a shield.
Natasha yelled, "It's defending itself...!"
"According to tactical analysis, it's adapting just to fit our attack patterns!"
