Chapter 31 - Chapter 16: The Lotus (Part 1)

With a fluttering heart, Luo Huangjun slowly browsed through the diary's contents.

[My master… the first impression she gave me was cold and distant. She spoke little, giving off the sense that she's hard to get along with.]

At this point, Luo Huangjun's fingers clenched tighter around the diary copy, but soon she relaxed.

[But I always feel that she isn't actually difficult to get along with. Her outward demeanor doesn't seem to reflect her true self.]

[She isn't unkind to me either. Although our exchanges are brief, she has already guided me step by step in my future cultivation path. She's a very responsible master.]

[Though my master is a bit icy, she is also an extraordinarily stunning woman—her beauty unparalleled, her aura like a lone snow lotus on the Tianshan Mountains, detached and independent. Truly, she is someone I've never seen in my life, unforgettable at first sight.]

[Perhaps her only flaw is that she seems hard to approach—but to me, this isn't a flaw. It's her unique trait. A woman who braves frost and snow should naturally carry such a solemn, unapproachable demeanor.]

[I really want to be a rebellious disciple, going against my master—she's just too amazing!]

Luo Huangjun froze, holding the diary copy in her hands, motionless for a long while.

Her alabaster cheeks heated rapidly, a faint blush creeping to her earlobes, making her appear exceptionally radiant.

"This child… what exactly is he saying? Unforgettable forever… and rebellious disciple? What on earth does that mean?"

She focused on the words "rebellious disciple," and the diary copy quickly provided an explanation.

"Absolutely mortifying! This impudent disciple actually has such thoughts—and there are others reading this diary too…"

In the quiet room, Luo Huangjun felt her heartbeat grow louder and louder, her cheeks burning intensely.

Only after quite some time did she calm herself.

Ripples appeared in the void, and a mirror quietly floated in midair, directly facing Luo Huangjun.

"Am I really that beautiful?"

She gazed at the reflection that appeared in the mirror.

The woman in the reflection had bright, starry eyes like twin moons, long thick eyelashes curling upward, a high and delicate nose, flawless porcelain-like skin seemingly illuminated by a snowy glow, and lips naturally rosy—not overly full, but also not thin.

Luo Huangjun reached out, slowly running her hand across one cheek.

She had never paid much attention to her own appearance, her mental image of herself still frozen in youth.

It was the first time in her life she had studied her own face so carefully.

In her youth, because of her background and status, no one dared covet her.

As she grew older, she rose rapidly, revealing unmatched talent and tremendous power. With both her abilities and status combined, no one dared set eyes on her.

Now, as the Sacred Land's Holy Lord, her cultivation had reached the pinnacle, her presence cold and imposing. Few dared look directly at her.

Thus, Luo Huangjun had always been somewhat unclear about her own appearance and allure.

But Chu Ge had told her clearly.

In his diary, he praised her beauty and aura in detail, described her character boldly, and candidly expressed his thoughts—down to his desire to be a "rebellious disciple" challenging her.
