Austin and I rose before dawn to grab breakfast, needing to meet the Tech Team before sparring began. Summers claimed he had crucial information to share with everyone.
Instead of our usual library gathering, we headed to Summers's quarters. The moment we stepped inside, the difference between third-year and first-year accommodations became starkly apparent. Despite the generous space, every available surface groaned under the weight of sophisticated computer equipment, leaving barely enough room to navigate. His bed sat pressed against the wall like an afterthought, as if sleep was merely something that happened when exhaustion finally claimed him.
Though cluttered, the room maintained an almost obsessive organization. I had no doubt Summers could locate any piece of equipment within seconds. He'd already prepared the video setup, positioning a large monitor to face the center of the room where we'd interact with Austin's family.
