"I'm serious. They're happy tonight, wonderful." She pointed out. "But tomorrow some ancient bastard wakes up and decides Phei needs to die. The following day another family discovers a prophecy nobody asked for. Then a new realm untouched secrets opens somewhere in their family, someone gets kidnapped like that girl, some lunatic and powerful entity decides his bloodline belongs to them and suddenly half the family is sharpening swords again. They look happy until a bastard come to kill 'em all."
She shook her head with theatrical conviction. "No, thank you. I'll keep my life the way it is."
Ryuzen nodded slowly.
Yuzuki saw it and she already hated every second of it.
"So you prefer your present life."
"Yes." but her brother just gave another wise nod. "Absolutely." she added.
"Mm-hm."
Her eyes narrowed. "Why are you doing that?"
"Doing what?"
