The room itself was massive—arched ceilings carved with ancient symbols of the pack's founding, tall stone pillars lining the walls, and a circular arrangement of seats that emphasized equality while still acknowledging hierarchy. The air carried the weight of authority, history, and something far more volatile today—anger.
There were twenty Elders in Novaterra, each holding a position of immense influence within the pack. Together, they represented every sector of society: infrastructure, diplomacy, trade, health, security, labor, unions etc. Their responsibility was not just governance but protection—of ideals, of people, of the image Novaterra had built as paradise.
They were second only to the Alpha King.
