Ethan took the cloak out of the warehouse.
The invisibility cloak really was plain-looking.
Because it was nothing more than a huge piece of black cloth with a hood.
'But… maybe I can test its effect.'
Ethan glanced at Cook Four standing by the pool. While she was looking toward the people in the cafeteria, Ethan immediately climbed ashore and draped the invisibility cloak over himself, then slowly walked over to Cook Four.
Just as Cook Four happened to pull her gaze back from the cafeteria, she swept her eyes over the pool and immediately cried out in shock, "Huh? Where did the Lord go? Why has the Lord disappeared?"
"I'm right here!"
Ethan replied softly right next to Cook Four's ear.
Cook Four was so startled that she jumped back sharply, then started looking around in all directions, saying, "Lord, is that you? I think I just heard your voice."
"It's me. Shh!"
Ethan continued, softly shushing next to Cook Four's ear.
Feeling the warm breath by her ear, Cook Four's face instantly turned red. She hurriedly nodded and whispered, "Lord, why can't I… why can't I see you?"
"I'm invisible. Don't say anything. I'm going to mess with them a bit."
Ethan said this to Cook Four.
When Cook Four heard that, her heart instantly bloomed with joy.
Because the Lord had actually told her such an important secret. She was really so happy.
But when she came back to her senses and wanted to look for the Lord again, she realized he was no longer beside her. She immediately felt a faint sense of disappointment.
