Just earlier today, when facing these two, it had even held back, afraid that beating them into hibernation in one go would affect Axel's plans.
But now, after running into it again, these two had actually attacked with full power without the slightest hesitation.

Kyogre tried to dive into the sea, but Volcanion instantly stood up nearby, facing it from afar.
Desperate howls rang out from the two Legendary Pokémon.

A purple energy torrent of immeasurable diameter erupted, like a gigantic spear of judgment tearing through space. It split into two midair and instantly swallowed Groudon's and Kyogre's mountain-sized bodies whole.
When the light finally faded, Lusamine, Lillie, and Giratina, who had been eager to compete with Rayquaza for credit, cautiously poked their heads out, witnessing a scene they would never forget.
Groudon lay in a massive crater, its dark gold pupils drained of light, leaving only pain and confusion.
Kyogre was not much better. Its eyes were filled with disbelief as it lay on the beach, firmly suppressed by Volcanion.
Despite being less than a thousand meters from the sea, there was absolutely no possibility of escape.
"Roar~", Groudon and Kyogre let out weak, feeble cries, completely unable to understand why this Black Rayquaza was so bad-tempered.
