With a massive explosion, Volcanion's body was blasted away and smashed heavily into the wall, making the entire mountain tremble.
While he was still dumbfounded and confused, Zekrom's figure swept past Reshiram. As he charged toward Volcanion, he let out a mocking laugh.
["You lowly thing, daring to ignore my little brother. Then let me show you what real thunder is!"]

["I'm the older brother. If it weren't for the boost from my Fusion Flare, your Fusion Bolt wouldn't be this strong at all!"]

Seeing the two dragons still arguing with each other in the middle of fighting him, Volcanion narrowed his eyes in fury, his gaze almost spitting fire.
But he could also tell that these two guys were not actually that strong. They only had some strange mechanics going for them, while their own levels were very low.
The reason that lightning had dealt such heavy damage to him earlier was partly due to type disadvantage, and partly because their moves complemented each other and could amplify one another.
["Enough arguing!"]
Volcanion let out a loud roar. His thick front limbs briefly left the ground as he hurled out a spinning mass of flames.
The flames changed shape in midair, quickly forming a vortex that engulfed Zekrom.
Volcanion's tactic was simple. Use Fire Spin to trap Zekrom for the time being, then take advantage of this window to defeat Reshiram first!
But very soon, Volcanion painfully realized that Reshiram, who also had extremely high resistance to fire, suddenly stepped in front of that black dragon.

This type was extremely special. It had shockingly few resistances and weaknesses, making it perfectly suited for situations where physical stats could crush the opponent even without a type advantage.
As long as either Zekrom or Reshiram was hit, Volcanion was confident he could turn the battle around.
But when Take Down was only halfway through, the violence in his eyes turned into utter confusion.
Because he saw the two dragons, who had just been inseparable moments ago, suddenly glance at each other. Then the black Zekrom, who had been fighting so hard to be the older brother, strangely opened his mouth wide and bit straight toward Reshiram.
What was even more outrageous was that Reshiram showed no intention of resisting at all. His solid body suddenly became illusory, flowing like water into Zekrom's mouth, and in the blink of an eye, he vanished without a trace.
