[Ding-dong!]
[Stelle: @Levi @Kiana @Elysia @Lumine @Asta, look! A flying man!]
[Stelle uploaded a photo]
Levi, who had just returned to his own Starskiff, was immediately drawn to the photo Stelle sent.
Looking at the man flying up into the air in the picture, even though Stelle had taken it from a distance and the figure was a bit blurry, Levi still recognized him at first glance.
"Isn't that Sampo? How did he turn into Belobog's flying man?"
"You know him???"
Seeing Levi directly call out Sampo's name, Stelle was both surprised and curious.
Sampo was a native Belobog guy through and through, how did he end up knowing Levi, who lived on the Luofu?
"Of course I know him… remember the Mr. Cold Feet I mentioned to you before?"
"You mean…"
With just that hint, Stelle immediately understood what Levi meant. She looked in Sampo's direction and flexed her fingers a bit.
Her hands felt itchy…
March 7th, standing nearby, saw Stelle rubbing her hands together with excitement and looked confused.
Stelle didn't explain much. After tossing out a line about going to take a walk, she ran off into the distance.
———
"Aahh!"
A man's scream echoed through the skies over Belobog. Herta looked up and saw the man who had been blasted into the air.
Her serious expression nearly cracked.
Seeing that Herta still hadn't moved, the doll spoke in that strange tone again, urging her on, "Don't just stand there, miss. Please assist Officer Smith and quickly apprehend the wanted criminal, Mr. Cold Feet."
Glancing at the doll in front of her, Herta gained a bit more understanding of the Masked Fool's talent for messing around.
She turned and chased after Mr. Cold Feet.
Every time Mr. Cold Feet landed on the ground and was blocked from view by buildings, Herta would press the button again.
And Mr. Cold Feet would be blasted back into the air by another explosion.
What was strange was that despite the explosions being so loud, Mr. Cold Feet didn't seem to have taken any damage at all.
'Is this also part of the Masked Fool's abilities?'
The doll left behind let out a burst of laughter. Then smoke spread out from inside it, and a graceful young girl stepped out of the smoke.
Sparkle looked at Herta's retreating figure and chuckled softly.
"I didn't lie to you~ 'Officer Smith' really is right in front of you. You just didn't notice."
'Who can you blame for that~'
The girl clasped her hands behind her back and skipped cheerfully toward where Sampo was.
"I knew it! That woman coming here was definitely bad news!"
Sampo clutched his butt and fled the scene at top speed.
Even though Belobog had become what it was now, his status as a wanted criminal would still attract the attention of the Silvermane Guards.
And on top of that, who knew what kind of people Sparkle had arranged to chase him.
He couldn't stop.
If he stopped, he'd be caught.
If he fell into the Silvermane Guards' hands, that would be one thing, but if he fell into that vicious woman's hands…
He probably wouldn't be able to turn his life around ever again.
"Where do you think you're going!"
Seeing the road ahead suddenly blocked by a figure, Sampo's face sank.
"Miss, I, Sampo, haven't done anything to wrong you, right?"
Even if I did, I've saved you before, that should cancel things out.
Seeing Stelle still standing there, Sampo pleaded, "Let me through, miss. There's a vicious woman and her people chasing me from behind!"
"Hmph!" Stelle snorted coldly, gripping her bat as she slowly approached Sampo.
"Today I'm going to properly teach you a lesson on Asta's behalf!"
'Asta?'
Sampo froze. He hadn't done anything to her either... 'Wait, I remember now. Some bastard borrowed my name to stir up trouble!'
Before he could explain, Stelle's bat was already swinging down.
"Ah! Miss, stop hitting me! If you keep going, don't blame me for using my ultimate move!"
Seeing that Stelle had no intention of stopping, a trace of cruelty flashed across Sampo's face.
"In that case, don't blame me for being ruthless!"
Catching sight of the Silvermane Guards rushing over after hearing the noise, Sampo pulled out a mask and put it on, then ran straight toward them, crying out miserably, "Big brothers of the Silvermane Guards, save me!"
While the guards were still confused, Sampo took out the… cultural relics he had stolen and pointed at Stelle, who was holding a weapon.
"That person tried to steal artifacts from the museum during the chaos! I risked my life to snatch these back!"
"Who knew that person would even try to kill me afterward!"
"Waaah… Big brothers of the Silvermane Guards, you have to save me!"
"..."
Looking at Sampo crying his eyes out, the guards didn't react for a moment, glancing at each other.
They comforted the "terrified" Sampo and told him to find a safe place.
Sampo thanked them repeatedly and ran off at once.
Stelle tried to chase after him, but was stopped by the guards.
She looked at them speechlessly, starting to suspect whether their brains had been beaten stupid by Sirin.
Sampo didn't even hand over the artifacts, and yet they were helping him deal with her.
BOOM!
"Ah!!!"
A scream eerily similar to Tom's rang out again. The guards all froze mid-motion.
Only then did they come back to their senses, that guy seemed to be the wanted criminal Sampo.
"I thought you guys would never notice…"
Stelle complained.
"Sorry, little girl. We wronged you."
One of the guards said apologetically. The words of a wanted criminal couldn't be trusted, they had clearly wronged her.
"Nowhere to run!"
"Such a big brick… a gift for you!"
"Holy crap!"
The massive hammer came crashing down from above. Sampo barely slid out of the way with a desperate tackle.
He wiped the sweat off his forehead.
Looking at yet another figure blocking his path, Sampo was on the verge of tears.
"Big sister, where did you pop out from now? I really don't think I've messed with you, right?"
'Big sister?'
Herta's already cold expression grew even colder. Her gaze toward Sampo was completely emotionless.
"Mr. Cold Feet, right? Talk. Where did you take Asta and my puppets?!"
'What puppets? Asta? I don't know anything!'
'That damn bastard! Don't let me find out who did this!'
'Don't let me...'
"Ah! Don't hit my face!"
———
"Achoo!"
Levi rubbed his nose and waved to Topaz beside him.
"I'm heading out. Come to the Luofu sometime…"
"Yeah, yeah, I know. You'll treat me to Milk Soda, right?"
Topaz looked at him speechlessly. Did he really think she didn't know what Xianzhou Milk Soda was like?
That stuff, give it to a dog and the dog would sniff it once and walk away shaking its head.
"Chip chip chip!"
Glancing at Numby by her feet, Topaz smiled at Levi.
"Just give my share to Numby. I'll pass on mine."
The Starskiff left Topaz's ship and slowly sailed into the starry sky.
Disappearing into the blue light of warp.
Watching Levi leave, Topaz prepared to report the situation to the company, and also ask about Levi's background.
Unfortunately, she didn't get any answers. The company didn't seem to have anyone named Levi on record, nor any account from the Xianzhou.
She glanced at the contact she had added before he left and muttered, "A mysterious guy."
Ring Ring Ring!
"Hello, Aventurine. Why are you calling me?"
"What do you mean by that? Can't I just be calling to congratulate you on finishing the mission so quickly?"
"..."
