Plop!
A strange noise sounded by the door. Stelle looked over and saw Sampo, both hands on the floor, pushing himself back up.
"You!"
Stelle's sharp gaze locked onto him as she pointed straight at him. "I haven't even settled the score with you for scheming against us out in the wild, and you still dare show your face in front of me?!"
Whoosh!
With a wave of her hand, Stelle's signature baseball bat appeared in her grip.
She rested the bat against Sampo's neck, flashed a dangerous smile, and asked, "Any last words?"
Sampo raised both hands high and said excitedly, "Sis! We're all sisters here! Sure, Sampo screwed you over, but didn't I save you too?"
Meeting Stelle's gaze, his expression looked utterly innocent.
"If it weren't for me, you'd probably be sitting in a Belobog prison cell right now!"
He was telling the truth. If he hadn't stepped in and knocked out those Silvermane Guards, their whole group would've ended up in prison, drinking nothing but cold wind.
"Alright, stop messing around," March 7th said, then looked at Asta and continued the earlier topic.
"So you were brought here by that Mr. Cold Feet?"
Faced with March 7th's question, Asta hesitated a little.
After all, she wasn't completely sure whether Mr. Cold Feet was really responsible.
But he was indeed the last person she'd had contact with.
Asta herself had no ability to travel through space, nor any special artifact.
So the most likely explanation was that it was done by that shop owner who had helped her, Mr. Cold Feet.
So Asta nodded.
"That Mr. Cold Feet is that powerful?" March 7th said in surprise.
"Herta Space Station is separated from here by who knows how many star systems, and he just sent you over in one go!"
'That was way too amazing!'
"He really is… very powerful."
Mentioning him, Asta couldn't help but picture that scene, his hand moving downward.
Her expression turned awkward and complicated.
While the two girls were discussing Mr. Cold Feet, they didn't notice Sampo in the corner, whom Stelle had released.
The expression on his face was extremely strange.
Listening to the two girls talk about Mr. Cold Feet, Sampo had only one thought in his head.
"Which bastard is stealing my name?!"
Mr. Cold Feet was a stage name he used when scamming, doing business, in Belobog.
As for what Asta said, that it was that person's real name... pure nonsense.
In the entire universe, what race names themselves in such a ridiculous way?
"Is that Mr. Cold Feet your boyfriend?"
"Huh? Why would you think that?"
Faced with March 7th's question, Asta looked puzzled. This was already the second misunderstanding, and she didn't blush like she had the first time.
March 7th explained, "Well… every time you say that name, your face gets a little red."
"Does it?" The corner of Asta's mouth twitched slightly. She knew it probably did.
After all, every time she said that name, images would pop into her head.
Like she'd been cursed or something.
While the two girls were talking, Stelle walked over to Kiana's bed.
Looking at her still asleep, Stelle frowned slightly and glanced toward Sampo in the corner. "You!"
Hearing that, Sampo fawned, "Sis, what does Sampo have the pleasure of helping you with this time?"
"The drug you used to knock us out, there's nothing wrong with it, right? Why hasn't my companion woken up yet?"
"That shouldn't be the case…"
Sampo stepped closer and examined the sleeping Kiana, stroking his chin.
"You're all awake, which means the drug's effect has already worn off. She shouldn't still be unconscious…"
This was his secret weapon, there was absolutely no way he'd messed up the dosage.
Could it be that because she wasn't from this world, some slight physical differences caused a problem?
Stelle immediately reached a conclusion.
"Hehehe… don't steal my drumstick…"
Stelle, "..."
She looked down at Kiana, who was grinning foolishly in her sleep, drool spilling from the corner of her mouth and soaking the blanket.
Stelle reached another conclusion.
She was simply having a sweet dream and didn't want to wake up.
Smack!
"Ow! Who hit me?!"
With a fresh handprint on her face, Kiana stood on the bed, fists clenched in front of her chest, eyes sharp as she scanned her surroundings.
Stelle slowly rubbed her eyes and put on a look of tearful joy.
"Kiana! You're finally awake!"
"Stelle?" Seeing her like this, Kiana's attention was successfully diverted. "Why are you in my house?"
"..."
'Uh-oh. Did I hit her so hard her brain broke?'
Seeing Stelle suddenly go silent, Kiana looked confused. Then she noticed she was wearing Valkyrie armor.
The surroundings were dim, with many beds around, completely different from her home.
That's when she remembered she'd come to help Stelle out of trouble.
She just hadn't prepared properly and ended up getting trapped herself.
Who could've guessed that the "ordinary people" Stelle talked about all had guns?
"Right! Where's Levi?" Kiana asked urgently.
Once a mission in the chat group was accepted, you couldn't quit until it was completed.
She'd thought that with Levi around, they'd quickly find that so-called Stellaron and head back.
But a small accident happened instead.
"Hurry up and tell him to go find the Stellaron. I need to go back to class! I still need to go back and eat!"
"No, wait!" Kiana suddenly paused mid-rant and looked at Stelle strangely. "You're Levi, aren't you? Pretending to be Stelle just to mess with me!"
Thinking that, Kiana grabbed Stelle by the shoulders and shook her, telling her to hurry up and figure out how to find the Stellaron.
And then end this trip.
In response, Stelle said, "Go look at what's going on in the chat group yourself!"
After reading the messages in the chat group, Kiana couldn't believe it.
"The chat group bugged out?"
Levi couldn't come over...
But there were three people on the mission now. Kiana asked blankly, "Where's Lumine?"
"She didn't come either."
'Then who did come?'
Stelle turned her head toward Asta. Seeing her movement, Kiana also understood.
Clearly, this unfamiliar girl had taken Levi's slot.
But…
Was she even in the chat group?
[Ding!]
[Levi: @Kiana @Stelle, how are things on your end? Do you need me to personally come over there to help you?]
———
The Xianzhou Luofu wasn't far from the Astral Express, just two jumps away.
All Levi needed to do was use Fu Xuan's name to borrow a jump-capable star skiff from the Sky-Faring Commission.
Anyway, Fu Xuan was probably still busy with Divination Commission affairs and wouldn't have time to care about him misusing, borrowing, her reputation.
Hands clasped behind his head, swaggering down Changletian's streets, Levi looked at the chat group where only he was speaking.
He assumed they were still unconscious.
[Levi (Asta): What's this? Stelle? Why are you here too?]
———
Outside the chat, Asta looked toward Stelle. Seeing the message, Stelle looked back at her.
Their eyes met in midair.
"This…"
"Shh!"
Stelle stepped forward and yanked Asta away from March 7th.
"What are you doing?!"
Facing March 7th's displeased look, Stelle showed a bit of apology. "Sorry, I need to discuss something with Asta. You two can talk later."
Then she glanced at Kiana, signaling her to come out with her.
Kiana deleted a long string of crying complaints and followed Stelle out of the room into the cold outdoors.
Dan Heng watched the three leave without saying a word.
March 7th puffed out her cheeks and complained, "Seriously! Is there something that needs to be kept secret from me?"
———
"Holy shit!"
On the other side, Levi, being dragged toward a mahjong parlor by Qingque, suddenly stopped in his tracks.
He stared at the chat group in front of him, completely dumbfounded.
"Did my account just get hacked?!"
