Ashelia let out a sigh for what seemed like the hundredth time since she left her bed chamber.
As she walked past the hallway, the servants going about the manor curiously eyed the heap of longbows in her arms.
A wry smile curled her lips as she stepped out through the imposing front doors, making her way toward the training grounds.
'The fact that I'm carrying so many longbows to the training grounds will surely reach father's ears soon.' She thought and let out yet another sigh. 'Those maids never know when to keep their mouths shut.'
She glanced down at the load she was carrying. It wasn't heavy to her at all, but she still wished Meryl was there to help with the quivers at least.
It felt strange not having the wolf by her side for practice. It was the only living creature in the castle that she felt understood her the most, because she told it everything.
The others were either too busy or too intimidated to be casual with her, her father and her maid, Lyra respectively.
