In Asgard...
The captive mermaid sat in her cell, eating her food with obvious annoyance, while her thoughts revolved around what had happened since her arrival at this place.
She was holding a piece of meat, eating it slowly, and saying to herself in frustration:
"Why hasn't anyone come to speak with me other than that annoying woman? I'm sick of her and her mockery..."
The princess was still unable to understand what was happening around her.
Since she woke up, almost no one had approached her, except for that strange woman who seemed to enjoy teasing her and playing with her nerves.
The princess raised the piece of meat to her mouth once again...
But she suddenly stopped.
She felt something strange.
The place around her shook violently.
Then the shaking intensified...
Until it felt as if a devastating earthquake was striking the entire place.
Her eyes widened, she dropped the piece of meat from her hand, then stood up quickly, saying in astonishment:
"What in the name of the ocean is happening?!"
She looked around, trying to figure out the source of the tremor.
This was no ordinary tremor.
Something massive was happening outside the prison.
And in the sky of Asgard...
If someone were to look from above, they would see a breathtaking sight.
There was an island slowly approaching Asgard, attempting to merge with it.
The forces moving the island were so immense that all of Asgard began to shake.
Strange sounds were echoing from the ground, while energy visibly spread throughout the area.
And in the midst of this scene...
Poseidon, Hades, and Athena, accompanied by the rest of the rulers, were in the process of merging the island they were transporting with Asgard.
It was not an easy task.
The island was massive, and moving and merging it with Asgard required an enormous amount of power.
And for this reason...
Heimdall also came to help them, by order of the three Oracles.
Heimdall stood in the sky, unleashing his energy toward the island, trying to assist the other rulers in completing the merging process.
He was exerting a great deal of his strength, watching the island as it drew closer and closer to Asgard.
At that moment, he said to himself:
"If Jörd were here, it would have been easier."
Then he continued to unleash his energy without stopping.
As for the rulers who were on the island...
They, in turn, began merging the island with Asgard.
Their powers were uniting together, with each of them contributing a portion of their strength to this process.
And by doing so...
They did not merely move the island and attempt to merge it with Asgard.
Rather, they awakened Asgard itself.
And in the depths of Asgard...
Asgard could feel what was happening.
Then it said to itself:
"They have finally arrived...."
This was the moment Asgard had been waiting for for a long time.
It had remained still and quiet, as if waiting for their arrival for ages.
And now...
Finally, the time had come.
Suddenly, Asgard's power stirred...
And the powers of all the rulers suddenly began to merge together.
The power of Hades and those with him combined with the power of Heimdall, and their energy intertwined with the power of Asgard itself.
And within moments...
It happened.
The island merged easily, smoothly, and quietly with Asgard.
The tremors gradually stopped.
And the ground settled.
Everything returned to calm once again.
But Asgard was no longer as it was.
It had become larger in size...
And more powerful...
And its lands became more expansive after the new island joined it.
And after the merging process was complete...
Everything returned to stillness.
As if Asgard had finally obtained what it was waiting for.
Then...
Asgard went back to sleep peacefully.
But this time...
It was happy.
For it had become larger in size...
And stronger than before.
