Odin and his brothers listened with great attention as their eldest niece explained the nature of her power.
Hades was gazing at his daughter, his eyes shining, a wide smile spreading across his face—one he could not suppress from sheer joy.
The girl spoke in a steady voice as she looked directly at Odin:
"My power, Lord Odin…
is the power of death and darkness."
As soon as she finished her words, she extended her hand before them.
Her hand was enveloped in a strange, dense black aura, pulsing with a cold yet awe-inspiring energy.
Odin stared at his niece's hand thoughtfully.
He could not help but notice the great resemblance between her power and that of her father, Hades.
However, he did not allow himself to dwell on that thought for long.
After a moment, his expression turned serious, and he said firmly:
"I forbid you from using your power for now.
Your power is extremely dangerous, and you could harm someone without intending to."
He then gestured toward Hades as he continued:
"Your father will be the one to train you in controlling this power, little one.
Your power and your father's power are remarkably similar… aren't they, Hades?"
Hades looked at his daughter with genuine happiness, then raised his head toward Odin and said:
"Yes, my brother.
My daughter's power is very similar to mine.
And I believe I can help her gain control over it in a very short time."
Athena smiled as she watched Hades speak with such enthusiasm, then said warmly:
"Congratulations, my brother.
You have been blessed with a daughter who possesses such power…
you are truly fortunate."
Hades listened to his sister's words and replied with obvious joy:
"Yes, sister,
I believe I truly am fortunate… don't you think?"
While Odin's brothers exchanged congratulations and celebrated the awakening of the eldest daughter of Hades and her terrifying potential,
the girl herself watched them in silence.
She did not interrupt or join their discussion,
but after a moment of thought, she frowned slightly and suddenly said:
"Where are those three twins now, I wonder?"
The moment Odin heard her words, he frowned deeply.
He felt a familiar energy rapidly approaching the weapons storage where they were.
He immediately realized that the three twins had sensed the awakening of the eldest daughter of Hades.
Odin sighed slowly,
feeling the weight of the troubles looming on the horizon.
Yet after a brief moment of thought,
an idea—one he had been contemplating for days—surfaced again in his mind.
He hesitated slightly,
then finally decided to voice it.
Interrupting his brothers' celebration, he said:
"What do you think…
about creating social classes on the island, my brothers?"
The brothers immediately stopped talking and celebrating,
turning to him in surprise.
Poseidon spoke first and said:
"What do you mean by that, Odin?
And what would be the benefit?"
Odin smiled faintly and replied in a calm yet firm tone:
"I believe that dividing our descendants into different classes,
and distinguishing them from one another,
would be better for everyone.
It will give them the desire to rise higher
and strive to improve their strength,
rather than stagnate…"
As soon as Odin said this, his brothers fully understood what he meant.
Hades nodded in agreement and said:
"Yes, you're right, my brother.
This way, their true potential will emerge,
and through that, we will encourage them to bring forth their real abilities."
The rest of the brothers nodded in agreement with Hades,
but Athena frowned slightly after a moment of thought and said:
"But…
wouldn't that spread jealousy among the children, my brothers?"
Odin looked at her calmly and replied:
"It doesn't matter.
A little jealousy won't harm anyone—
it will only increase the children's motivation."
Athena was partially convinced by Odin's words.
She realized that his plan to divide their descendants on the island into different classes
might be more beneficial than harmful,
and finally agreed.
When Odin saw that all his brothers had agreed, he said:
"I will speak with my father to hear his opinion on this,
and discuss with him how to divide our descendants into classes."
Before he could finish his sentence,
an angry shout echoed from outside the weapons storage, abruptly cutting him off.
Odin immediately recognized the voice…
but what was said made him freeze in place.
He heard clearly:
"Come out! Now!
I want to see who dares to ignore us and ruin our mood!"
Odin and his brothers listened to the voice.
Hades looked at his brothers in surprise and said:
"Isn't that the voice of your daughters, my brother?
What is going on here?"
But Odin did not respond.
He remained silent, as if he had heard nothing at all,
lost in his own thoughts.
Hades looked at his brothers in confusion,
unable to understand what had put Odin in such a state.
Before he could ask whether Odin was all right,
Poseidon's furious voice exploded:
"Ah… now I remember!
How dare those three twins speak to me,
Poseidon, ruler of the seas, in that manner?
They insulted me!
How dare they?!"
Hades' eyes widened in shock.
He could not believe what he was hearing.
He wanted to ask Poseidon what he meant,
but Athena's words stopped him:
"You're not alone, brother.
Those girls insulted me as well…
didn't they, Odin?
Aren't they your daughters?"
Hades looked at his brothers, then at Odin, and said in a strange tone:
"Do you hear what your siblings are saying, my brother?
I think they've gone mad…"
Then he let out a short laugh and said:
"How could those girls dare to insult us?
Surely your siblings are spouting nonsense because they're jealous of your daughters' potential, aren't they?"
Odin looked at Hades and the rest of his brothers.
He saw blazing anger in Poseidon's and Athena's eyes,
and disbelief and confusion on Hades' face.
Odin sighed deeply.
He realized that his plan to remain silent and avoid interfering would not work,
and that he had to speak to calm his brothers' anger.
He opened his mouth to say:
"My brothers, I think—"
But before he could finish his sentence,
his three daughters' voices screamed from outside:
"How dare you, you wretch, not come out of the storage?!
Didn't you hear what we said, or are you deaf?!"
The words caught in Odin's throat.
Clear embarrassment spread across his face
as he looked at his brothers,
who were staring at him in shock and disbelief.
