In the early morning, Odin gathered his brothers to talk to them about an important matter.
And when the brothers gathered, Athena spoke and asked:
"Why have you gathered us now, Odin? Did something happen?"
And when Odin heard that, he was silent for a little while, thinking about how he would convey to them what happened in a way that would not worry them, then he said:
"Yes… my brothers, I have confirmed that the one who was warning me was our father."
His brothers were astonished at what he said, for they did not expect that his ability would allow him to know the matter this quickly.
Hades asked:
"Did you speak to him? What is his condition?"
And Athena said after him:
"Yes… what happened? How is he after the island became…?"
And Poseidon said:
"Is he okay?"
When Odin saw his brothers' worry, he was certain that it was right not to tell them the full truth.
So he replied to them and said:
"He is fine, but his warning to us took some of his power, so he will be sleeping for several years."
Athena felt sad when she heard his words and said:
"Will he be okay?"
And Hades said:
"What is the important thing that made him use his power to warn us?"
And Poseidon said:
"Is the matter that serious?"
Odin replied to him and said:
"Do not worry, our father is fine. He needs some time to regain his strength.
As for the danger and what he warned us about, it will not come soon, but after several years.
I have gathered you here to warn you, and I tell you: do not neglect your training.
You must become stronger than that so we can survive the coming danger."
Hades was surprised at what he said, and asked:
"Are you saying that the coming danger we cannot face with our current strength even if we are together?"
When he said that, he and his brothers looked at Odin astonished.
And Poseidon said:
"What is the danger that we cannot face while we have our current strength?"
Odin replied to them and said:
"I do not know what the danger is, nor where it will come, nor what it exactly is…
But what our father warned me of is that we cannot face it with our current strength,
and he also warned us not to forget the most important matter."
Athena said, surprised:
"What is the matter more important than the imminent danger?"
Odin said:
"It is the matter of the lineage; it is the most important matter right now. You must not forget or ignore it…
It is the matter that will make us immortal, do not forget that."
And Poseidon, thinking, said:
"You are right, Odin… the matter of the imminent danger almost made us forget the matter of the lineage."
And Hades, looking at the slaves from a distance, said:
"Yes, the matter of the danger should not make us forget that."
And Athena said:
"Is the danger imminent, Odin?"
Odin replied:
"We still have some time to be able to increase our strength, and to bring our lineage to the island.
Do not worry about time, what matters is that we focus and do not waste our time, for every day is important.
I do not want you to forget that our father places his trust in us."
When his brothers heard what he said, they became excited, for that was the first time their father had placed his trust in them.
And each of them thought that they must not disappoint the trust that was granted to them.
And Athena said:
"You are right, Odin… we must not waste our father's trust in us."
And Hades replied:
"We must focus on increasing our strength so that we can face the coming danger."
And Poseidon replied:
"But we must also pay attention to the matter of the lineage."
When Odin saw that they were discussing among themselves, he knew that he had succeeded in making them walk on the right path.
So he smiled and thought that he too must increase his strength, for the danger that awaited them was great; it was one of the ancient giants, and although he was still a child, his danger was great.
When he thought of this, he looked under his feet and sensed what was inside the mountain, but he did not find anything.
He said to himself:
"He is still weak, so why did I not sense anything from inside the mountain?
The giant child had the ability to hide from my sense, and he is still a child… so what will his power be when he grows up?"
When he thought of that, he felt extreme danger, for he thought that his current strength was not the strongest, but among the strongest…
But he did not expect that he could not sense a child, and he could escape his sense even if the child was one of the giants.
When he thought of that, he felt how weak he and his brothers were in this world.
So he looked at his brothers who were still discussing the matter, and then he looked around, thinking that the future is ahead of them, and he should not think in this wrong way.
For he and his brothers had not yet reached the limits of their strength; they were still in the stage of growth.
When he thought of that, he regained his energy and enthusiasm.
And he said to his brothers:
"Come on, my brothers, we must prepare well for what is coming."
Everyone agreed with what he said, and they began to prepare and plan where they would train, and how they would separate the matter of the lineage from the training, while the brothers were discussing.
Far away in the continent of Mira, in the Miran Empire, north of the empire, in a forest within the lands of the Duchy of Krifon, in a hidden cave, Archduke Carel was severely injured, and he was speaking to his son and granddaughter:
"We have run away a lot, my son, we cannot continue the rest of our lives like this.
The mercenary squad that I used to lead has been destroyed, but do not worry, I have hidden you well, for no one knows about you until now.
You must hide in the north for a while until the pursuit stops."
When he said that, his son and his granddaughter were kneeling in front of him, crying.
And when his granddaughter heard what he said, she screamed sadly and said:
"What about you, Grandpa? Come with us, please!"
Kareel looked at her, smiling, and said:
"I will come later, my little one, but I must lead them to another place so we can escape safely."
When Kareel said that, his son knew that he intended to sacrifice himself for him and for his daughter.
So he said to his daughter, trying to smile:
"Don't worry, my little one, Grandfather will come with us when we escape."
The little girl calmed down a little when she heard that, and Kareel watched her as she calmed and stopped crying.
So he pointed and said to her:
"Listen, Alina, go and bring the cloak over there."
When he said that and saw Alina going and bringing the cloak, he said to his son in a firm tone:
"You must keep the box. All our efforts must not go to waste; they must not find it. Escape with it — it is the hope that may keep you alive."
As soon as the son heard his words, he said in surprise:
"Are you still, Father, thinking about this idea?"
Kareel looked at him and did not answer, and he watched Alina coming while carrying the cloak.
He smiled at her and said:
"Thank you, my little one."
He took the cloak from her and tore it, and he wrapped the wound that was on his chest.
When he finished that, he looked at his son and his granddaughter and smiled at them, and he had known that he might not meet them again.
So he said:
"Take care of yourselves, don't worry about anything, I will come to you only.
I must make those who are chasing us search in the wrong place, and I will be quick."
When he finished his words, he stood up, kissed Alina on her cheek, carried his sword, and looked at Kareel seriously, as if saying to him:
"Take care of Alina for me, and keep the box safe."
He then left the cave, intending to mislead those who were pursuing him.
As soon as he left the cave, he gathered the aura inside him and strengthened his legs with it, and he rushed quickly on a path far from the cave, thinking about how to make the pursuers believe that he destroyed the thing that is inside the box, so they would not continue searching for it.
Because if they continued searching, they might find his son and his granddaughter.
