Aira and Aeron exited the Vaar City Academy.
Calling a flying carriage, both of them entered inside and towards the city center with big buildings, advanced roads, flying balloons, ships, and a magically digital sky.
"Since you are now strong, already at Tier-4 Lifeform, we'll first get your privileges of the Geoxar Network." Aira smiled. "You're going to love it."
Aeron blinked, curious. "Can you tell me more about this Geoxar Network and stuff?"
"Let's start with Geoxar Network, which is a network of galaxies in this Maxim Universe. In this hierarchy, our Planet Earth is considered a D-Tier planet, which is the lowest grade, and is the only place with a major human population. Your human race is also ranked second from bottom in Geoxar Network, and 9485th in the top 10,000 races in the Maxim Universe."
"Oh…" Aeron was surprised. "That's quite low."
Aira wryly smiled. "That's because humans have a lot of low-level thinkers right now. Enemies of progress. Slaves of Ego and Emotions. Using religions as a blocking tool rather than peace and progress."
"That's…true." Aeron sighed. "I was in a religious hell, so I know with extreme clarity. The enemies of peace and progress. Progress is a pursuit of change, but that which cannot change with the development, and for the development is…my human society."
"Well, good news for you." Aira chuckled. "Things are going to change fast because human leaders on this side are planning to change the rules and interfere in the normal human world to reform it for the better." Aira looked at Aeron. "The leaders of humans on this side want to make the entire Earth aware of the supernatural side, and introduce them to the vast universe out there, and tell them that they are not 'the only super intelligent lifeform' but actually the bottom one in the list."
Aeron wryly smiled. "That's…interesting. When is this happening?"
Aira shrugged. "I have no idea. I just know the talks about this are ongoing in major human forces like Nightwing Dojo, Rudra Clan, Vaish House, Romansun House, Takajita Clan, Graves Family, and Xin Dynasty. These are seven major human forces, with each one having one or more Tier-5 powerhouses."
"Ohh." Aeron blinked.
Aira smiled. "I have a question for you. How do you want to live?"
"Do you want to live a quiet life without influencing anyone or anything and just progress on your own, exploring the universe without being affiliated with your race? Or you want to bring changes to your human culture and society, and progress on a grander scale in the universe, not just as an individual, but also as a leading figure of something you represent?"
Aeron felt the question was difficult because he didn't know the answer.
"Honestly, I have no idea. If it were before I mastered the technique and spent over two years in hell, I would have chosen the first option." Aeron's eyes flickered. "But I don't want humans to be reduced to just sheep and goats who follow the herd without change and progress."
"Well, that won't happen because the humans on this side, who are aware of the grander world, will bring changes to the Earth. Many humans also convert to different races, becoming hybrids, but many want to remain pure and elevate the human bloodlines again."
Aira intently looked at Aeron. "The human race used to rank high. They used to have Tier-10 powerhouses. But they faded, with only their fragmented stories remaining in this new epoch. It was as if they were erased by something."
"So, do you want to become a public figure for humans or a hidden figure? Both have their merits and demerits to rising high in the Geoxar Network."
Aira smiled. "You don't need to answer now. I'll tell you more about Geoxar Network, so take your time. First, we'll get your Geoxar Network ID, as Geoxar Network only gives ID to Tier-4 lifeform or above, and you can get one now."
"The privileges." Aeron blinked. "What are those?"
"The first privilege is free travel from Earth to any C-tier planet. This is already big because C-tier planets are bigger and more resource-rich. Just traveling to one and working hard there means you can become a Tier-5 lifeform eventually, which is not possible on Earth, as there are no resources for it."
"The second privilege is entry into the Virtual Geoxar Continent. This is a hub to meet people of all races who are far away virtually. It's a huge continent where everything can happen. You can do business, participate in tournaments, trade, shop, and so on. You can also die if you mess with someone, as some techniques and Gift of strong powerhouses can affect your conciousness, but this is not common, as this virtual network has automated ejection of conciousness in case of danger."
"That sounds amazing." Aeron was surprised.
"Yep, it is."
"How strong are you?" Aeron curiously asked.
Aira smiled and took out her ID card, which glowed and projected a hologram showing her status.
[Aira Rau Verian]
Lifeform Rank: Tier-5
Power level: 227,380
- Physique: 2.4 star
- Stamina: 26,000/26,000
- Spirit: 2.7 stars
- Prana: 30,000/30,000
- Vigor Points: 2505 opened.
- Spirit Points: 2740 opened.
- Manifested Points: 2 opened.
"You opened 2 Manifested points already." Aeron blinked. "You basically cleared the main requirement of Tier-6. All you need is training and resources."
"Yep. And we are here." Aira looked outside.
The flying carriage slowed as it descended, its humming crystals dimming.
Aeron leaned forward slightly, eyes narrowing as the city center unfolded below.
At the very heart of Vaar City stood a structure that dwarfed everything around it.
It was not merely tall. It felt authoritative.
The skyscraper rose like a colossal spire of black crystal and silver alloy, its surface layered with translucent panels etched in flowing runes. Those runes were alive, slowly rotating, shifting colors from deep violet to pale gold, as if the building itself was breathing.
Several floating rings encircled the tower at different heights, each ring rotating independently. Streams of light traveled between the rings and the main structure, forming vast geometric circuits in midair.
"This…" Aeron muttered. "This doesn't look like something built on Earth."
"It wasn't. This is a Geoxar Network Administrative Spire. Built by officials of the Network itself. Earth was only permitted to host it."
As the carriage drew closer, Aeron noticed the space around the tower subtly distort. The air felt denser, heavier, as if the laws of physics were being politely overridden.
Flying ships of all kinds moved in orderly paths around the spire. Some were sleek and organic, others angular and mechanical.
Creatures Aeron could not identify stood on floating platforms, entering and exiting through glowing gateways embedded into the tower's surface.
"This building exists in partial overlap with different spatial layers," Aira informed as she got out of the carriage. "It scanned us, so we'll be tracked with our unique bio-signature throughout our stay here. Any threat inside is perceived and dealt with instantly by the artificial intelligence overseeing this building, which is connected to the mother AI of Geoxar Network."
"Pretty tight."
"Yep. This is one of the reasons that climbing the ladder openly for prestige and power in Geoxar Network's book is better. Getting into the controlling powers of Geoxar Network will give you a picture of a vaster world, more resources, and something even I don't know, which they call a Game Piece."
"That's far for us right now." Aira shook her head before she wryly smiled. "But if you can make connections and earn favors from them, your life can become easier in the Geoxar Network. That's what the majority of families in Grade-C and higher strive to do. To acquire a connection with a stronger force by showing their potential and worth."
"Sounds like a lot of work." Aeron chuckled.
The duo entered, and shortly, they exited with Aeron's Geoxar Network ID card.
"That was really fast and easy." Aeron looked at his card. It entered his skin and appeared again. "It's magical."
The device measured his lifeform parameters, and they were of Tier-4 lifeform, so he gave a drop of his blood, and then he got a card. That was the process, finished in one room in one minute.
"Yep. This is entirely made from your DNA structure, and this spirit material is the kind that can transform according to the DNA. So this card is basically a part of your body. A very flexible part." Aira smiled.
"Amazeballs."
Aira chuckled.
"Anyway, let's eat now." She said. "And then we can go home to rest and visit the Geoxar Virtual Network."
"Awesome. I can't wait."
Aira and Aeron soon finished eating at a fantasy restaurant and then headed to Aira's luxurious mansion in the Vaar City's outskirts.
The sun had set as they were heading home, so Aeron also enjoyed the nightview of the city.
But just as the carriage entered the barriers of her mansion, Aira's eyes flickered.
"Shit."
Aeron was startled. "What happened?"
"My family is here one day early. At least two goofballs are early."
"Goofballs?" Aeron blinked.
Aira smiled. "My junior brothers."
