In the void, the passage of time became meaningless. He lost sense of directions that it no longer felt like falling. He was floating. Then, he felt the solid ground beneath him.
A new scene began to take shape. piece by piece, a colossal structure began to form around him, with an open interior. Walls and roof were made from a blend of metal and carbon fiber fabrics. The hangar bore the marks of heavy use, with dirt and stains.
Along one side of the hangar were tables with equipment, tools, and various machinery. In a far corner, a small airplane rested, taking a quarter of the floor space.
Under the airplane's wings, a faint figure materialized. It hued a shade of violet. He felt a sort of connection to it, a sense of attraction or even belonging. The sense pulled him closer towards it.
With each step, its features sharpened, revealing the outline of a woman. A beautiful woman. He got closer. This woman must mean something to him. Could she be his mother? No, impossible. He never had one.
He gently touched her shoulder. Slowly, she turned to face him. Even with the hue of her form. He felt like he recognized her. He has encountered her before, he's certain of that. Where? When? He doesn't know.
Around them, multiple other figures materialized, similar to the this one but darker, with different shapes, sizes, and genders. They drew closer to each other, forming groups of different sizes. Still, wagner's focus remained on the girl in front of him.
Then, the features of the figure started blurring, slightly disappearing one by one.
Next, the aircraft vanished and with it the scene began to dissolve. Every one of the other figures, every piece of equipment, every tool, and every tile of the walls around them, they all vanished. Only he, the voiceless figure, and the table them remained. Eventually, the figure vanished as well, followed by the solid ground.
There he was, falling again, with no memories of what came before.
