Their souls were fractured by Venshu's sword, splintered into fragments bound within prisons of stone, shaped from the torn flesh of their own bodies. Their eyes were destroyed by the Windbringer, ensuring they could never be remade. At last, the fragments were scattered into running waters, so they would never find one another again.
Over the ages, the story of Shiva and his host faded into myth, as all great tales do. But the suffering of those fragmented souls never ended. For eternity, they wander, searching for what can never be restored, completion.
