Professor Kastner arrived to find Abi focused in his work on the malfunctioning water treatment unit. Abi was Surprised by his early arrival.
"How did it go?" He asked. Kastner's face gave the answer before his words.
"It didn't go as we hoped, Wagner didn't make it."
Abi's hand froze. Their first day in the city already came with a loss. Abi Sat down his tools and took a moment to process.
"I'm sorry," Kastner said. "if you need some time off—"
"I wasn't very close to him." Abi said "Still, I'll take you up on the offer."
Abi gave him a brief report on the repair then walked back to vehicles.
