Their reign of terror ended not with a chase or a tip, but with a stroll. On October 4, 2018, police stopped the couple pushing a baby stroller that seemed oddly heavy. Inside, they found human remains wrapped in plastic. In custody, the couple confessed to killing between 10 and 20 women, admitting to cannibalism and feeding remains to their dogs. Dubbed the "Monsters of Ecatepec," they were sentenced to over 300 years in prison.
