Chapter 124 - Chapter 124: What a Body (EC)

Nick Fury also asked Harry whether he wanted to serve as the team leader, but Harry refused without hesitation.

He was working this hard so he could retire as soon as possible in the future. How could he possibly add more burdens to himself?

Being the mastermind behind the scenes—a professional slacker on the team—was more than enough!

In the end, Nick Fury looked at Harry with a mysterious expression and said, "I've got an ace up my sleeve. It's the perfect weapon against HYDRA. I need your help—I'm hoping you can come to S.H.I.E.L.D. sometime in the next few days and test someone's magical talent."

When Harry pressed him on who it was, Nick Fury only lifted the corners of his mouth into a meaningful smile and refused to answer.

That instantly annoyed Harry. He hated riddle-talkers the most!

He couldn't beat the Sorcerer Supreme, sure—but dealing with you is easy, okay?!

So Harry decisively cast a spell, transfiguring Nick Fury's hands into whips. Then he opened a portal on the spot and left, abandoning a room full of agents who wanted to laugh but didn't dare.

Harry didn't go back to his villa. Instead, he went straight to the HYDRA base in Sokovia—directly into the room where the Scarlet Witch, Wanda, was being held.

He was too eager to get this girl. He couldn't wait a whole week!

But when he stepped out of the portal, his eyes went blank.

The girl stood with her back to him, her long red hair draped casually down her back. Her skin was taut and smooth without a single flaw, her shoulders shaped in graceful, flowing lines, slightly drawn back.

From her shoulders down, the elegant curve of her spine rose and fell gently with her breathing.

And the slim waist on either side of that spine—so narrow it could be circled with one hand—outlined a perfect, seductive curve.

Harry had just walked out of the portal at the exact moment the Scarlet Witch was changing clothes, and he'd been hit with this breathtaking view.

With a body like that, he involuntarily thought of all the possibilities.

But what really grabbed Harry's attention wasn't Wanda's perfect body lines—it was her panties, printed with an adorably goofy Peppa Pig.

"Wanda looks pretty sexy, but why is she wearing something so… childish?" Harry muttered to himself.

Before he could think too much, Wanda seemed to notice movement behind her and slowly turned around.

In that instant, their eyes met in midair.

Wanda's eyes went wide in shock—she couldn't believe a strange man had appeared out of nowhere.

But very quickly, once she realized what was happening, her pupils shrank and her body tensed instinctively, ready to scream at any second.

At the same time, scarlet power gathered rapidly around her hands like a living thing. She raised her guard and demanded, "Who are you?!"

Harry hadn't expected such an awkward entrance—materializing straight into a scene like that. His face reddened slightly. He rubbed the side of his nose and said quietly, "Uh… I'm Harry Potter. A wizard."

"A wizard?"

Hearing him call himself a wizard didn't shock Wanda.

Inside this HYDRA base, she'd seen plenty of bizarre things.

Man-made monsters produced by insane experiments—twisted limbs, warped forms. Compared to them, a "wizard" wasn't that strange.

Not to mention she herself had the power to alter probability, so of course a world with wizards made sense.

Still on guard, Wanda's magic trembled intensely around her as she used telekinesis to pull the dress from the bed, covering the important parts of her body, and snapped, "Why did you break into my room? Get out!"

Even if she had abilities, Wanda was still a girl.

Getting seen naked by a strange man—especially knowing he'd also seen her Peppa Pig underwear—how could she not be furious?

Right now, she only wanted to drive this uninvited intruder out of her sight immediately.

Seeing Wanda looking at him like he was a pervert, Harry grew even more awkward. He tugged at his collar, trying to relieve the embarrassment, and hurried to explain:

"This was an accident. I sensed your presence by chance and realized you have incredible talent, so I got curious and wanted to meet you. I just didn't expect that when I opened the portal, you would…"

While speaking, Harry cast a spell silently. In the blink of an eye, an invisible barrier expanded outward from the two of them, enveloping the entire room without making a sound.

Once the silencing spell covered the room, no matter how much noise happened inside, the outside wouldn't notice.

He didn't want any commotion to attract other people and create more trouble.

Fortunately, things hadn't spiraled completely out of control. The situation was moving in a better direction.

Wanda was wary, but she didn't immediately attack.

Instead, she caught the implication in Harry's words with frightening sharpness. Shock replaced her anger in an instant, her eyes widening in disbelief.

"You're from outside… you're not with HYDRA!"

Harry nodded slightly, looking at her with sincere eyes, testing the waters as he said, "Of course I'm not with HYDRA. From the look of you, you've been trapped here a long time. If you want to leave this hellhole… I might be able to help you."

Wanda's heart jolted. She was tempted—deeply.

To be honest, she was sick of this lightless military base.

Especially lately. Someone new had arrived—a bizarre, Frankenstein-like scientist, his skin an oily green, his head absurdly huge. Just looking at him made her skin crawl.

Ever since he showed up, the entire base had become even more oppressive. The experiment intensity skyrocketed—it was a nightmare.

People involved in the experiments could lose their lives at the slightest mistake. Screams often echoed through the corridors, terrifying anyone who heard them.

Worse still, this big-headed freak—whom everyone called the Leader—had already set his sights on Wanda and Pietro.

Because they had special abilities, they were kept here as "special test subjects."

In the past few months, they hadn't been treated too harshly. Aside from having their blood drawn, they hadn't been subjected to the truly brutal experiments.

But that fragile calm shattered the moment the Leader arrived.

And now, if the Leader wanted to experiment on them, judging by how Baron Strucker treated him, Strucker almost certainly wouldn't refuse.

The moment Wanda thought of that, a powerful sense of unease surged inside her.

Just having their blood taken as special test subjects had already made them suffer enough.

No one knew how terrifying the next experiments would be. They had no confidence they could survive the madness.

If she could leave with this mysterious wizard, that would be the best choice possible.

No matter what unknown dangers existed in the outside world, no matter how bad it might be, it couldn't be worse than this.

Wanda took a deep breath, forcing her racing heart to calm down. After a moment of thought, she stared at Harry and made her decision.

"I'll go with you. And I'm willing to work for you—as long as you promise you won't hurt me or Pietro, and you'll take both of us out of this hellhole."

"Pietro?" Harry frowned slightly, confusion flashing in his eyes. "Who's that?"

"My brother," Wanda explained quickly, urgency in her voice. "He's like me—born with special abilities. His speed is beyond imagination. He can cross long distances in the blink of an eye.

And just like me, his power is growing rapidly. Believe me—if you save us, we'll be your strongest helpers!"

If Harry wanted Wanda's goodwill, saving her brother Pietro was the key step. With an opportunity this perfect, how could he possibly let it slip?

So he asked at once, "Where's Pietro?"

The moment she heard that, Wanda lit up, her voice trembling with excitement. "Not far. Our rooms are only separated by one corridor."

Harry nodded and said decisively, "Alright. Then let's go now and rescue him too."

"Wait!" Wanda hurriedly raised a hand to stop him, her face full of worry. "We can't just walk out like that. The hallway is covered in cameras. The moment you step outside this room, you'll be spotted. Then none of us will get away."

Harry lifted his wand and smiled mysteriously. "Don't forget—I'm a wizard!"

Harry decided to show Wanda a trick, make her even more interested in magic, and get her to willingly "board the ship" and become his borrower.

He flicked his wrist. The wand traced a graceful arc through the air, then tapped lightly.

Wanda felt her vision warp slightly. Then she stared in shock at her own body—and at Harry beside her.

Their outlines began to blur, as if covered by an invisible fog, and then they slowly turned transparent until they blended completely into the environment.

As the caster, Harry could still see Wanda's every movement clearly.

When he saw the shock on her face, Harry smiled with satisfaction, then pretended to be casual as he said lightly,

"This is just a basic spell—the Disillusionment Charm. It can turn a target invisible. Your talent is excellent. If you want to learn, you'll master it quickly. And you'll get access to more interesting and more powerful magic."

But what happened next completely exceeded Harry's expectations.

Not long after, his smile stiffened, replaced by an expression that was hard to describe.

Wanda hadn't listened to a single word.

She actually started putting on clothes right in front of him, as if no one else existed.

Harry quickly realized what she was thinking: she probably assumed that since she couldn't see him while invisible, he also couldn't see her—so she had no reservations at all, exposing everything without holding back.

Harry didn't remind her. If he did, it would only make things awkward for both of them.

As a gentleman, Harry naturally chose to turn his head and pretend nothing was happening.

However, out of a healer's instinct, he still couldn't help assessing Wanda's physical condition.

Mm. Well-developed—honestly, almost too well-developed. She was in very good shape. Her curves were just a bit too dramatic, and her waist was too thin. She needed to eat more and build herself up.

With telekinesis helping her, Wanda dressed quickly. Within a few seconds, she had her dress back on.

She turned to Harry, her expression urgent. "Let's go. We have to rescue Pietro. I'm sure he's just as desperate to leave as I am!"

The door opened—but no one could be seen walking out. A few seconds later, it closed again.

Wanda led from the front, Harry followed close behind. The two of them moved slowly through the dim corridor, one after the other.

Under Wanda's guidance, they quickly reached the end of the hallway. After turning a corner, a tightly shut door appeared in front of them.

But just as Wanda was about to open it, her steps stopped abruptly. She froze, her arm stiff in midair.

At the same time, Harry heard faint, indulgent noises leaking from inside the room—sounds that felt especially jarring in the quiet hallway.

He frowned slightly, giving Wanda a rather strange look. The corners of his mouth lifted with a teasing edge as he said,

"Wanda… seems like your brother isn't as desperate to leave as you thought."
