Chapter 29 - Chapter 29 Uchiha Ryota's Suffering

Boom.

Two fireballs collided violently in the air.

However, after a stalemate of less than three seconds. Sora's "Great Fireball" instantly overwhelmed, crushed, and obliterated Uchiha Ryota's fireball with a dominating force. The remaining flames and heatwave even surged back towards Ryota.

"What."

"Impossible."

"How is his Great Fireball stronger than an Uchiha's."

The entire venue erupted in an uproar. Everyone, including the Anbu, was stunned.

Kurenai covered her small mouth, her eyes wide open. Asuma's blade of grass fell from his mouth. Genma Shiranui also dropped his lazy expression, looking shocked.

Sora's meager chakra, of course, couldn't produce such a powerful Great Fireball Technique. The core driver was actually the Boro Breath ability of the Azure Dragon Fruit.

To better mimic releasing the Great Fireball Technique, Sora even deliberately gathered his small amount of chakra to his throat.

But Uchiha Ryota knew none of this. He stared dumbfounded at his easily crushed fireball, his mind blank. "No... Impossible. How could he. And it's stronger than mine. How is this possible."

His clan's pride was completely shattered at this moment.

The scorching heatwave blasted against his face, singeing his bangs, causing a burning pain, and instantly extinguishing his last shred of fighting spirit.

"I sur." Before the word "render" could leave his mouth, Sora's figure appeared before him like a ghost.

"Want to surrender. Did you ask me." Sora's icy voice reached Uchiha Ryota's ears. The next moment, Sora's right hand moved like lightning, having dodged the fireball with him, grabbed his collar, and yanked him down hard.

"Rip."

A crisp sound of tearing cloth. A large piece of Uchiha Ryota's jacket was ripped off by Sora. Before he could react, that cloth bundle, still warm from his body temperature, was rudely and forcibly stuffed by Sora into his wide open mouth, firmly blocking that "render" word.

"Mmmph."

Uchiha Ryota's eyes widened in terror, only able to emit muffled grunts, desperately trying to spit out the cloth in his mouth, his hands clawing wildly.

But how could Sora give him a chance.

"Uchiha genius. Is this all." Sora sneered, his left hand grabbing Ryota's wrist, which was trying to resist, like an iron clamp, and gave a slight twist.

"Urgh." Intense pain caused Ryota's scream to be muffled in his mouth, his body involuntarily bending over.

Then, Sora's fists rained down like hail.

Of course, Sora was very measured in his strikes. He targeted only fleshy areas like the buttocks, thighs, and arms, avoiding all vital points and joints.

Every punch and kick was guaranteed to make Uchiha Ryota feel pain to the bone, but would only cause superficial injuries, not even minor wounds, allowing him to recover and bounce back in a few days.

"Mmmph. Ow. Ungh."

Uchiha Ryota was beaten without any ability to fight back, howling on the ground like a human punching bag.

Uchiha Ryota tried to dodge, but Sora's attacks always landed on him with precision.

Tears, snot, and saliva mixed with dust smeared all over his face, making him look utterly miserable.

For the first time, he felt despair and regret so clearly. He regretted why he had provoked this monster. He regretted why he had used the Great Fireball earlier. He regretted why he hadn't listened to his brother and surrendered directly.

The sidelines were eerily quiet, with only the dull thuds of fists on flesh and Uchiha Ryota's muffled groans of pain through the gag.

Hiss.

The other students nearby gasped in shock, staring dumbfounded. Some of the girls even turned their heads, not daring to watch.

This was completely a one sided beatdown.

Kurenai looked at Sora, who was going all out in the arena, feeling a bit scared, but more a sense of vindication.

Genma Shiranui's mouth twitched. "This guy. He really hits hard." But his tone didn't hold much sympathy.

Asuma also watched with his eyelids twitching, secretly glad that although he and Sora didn't get along, it hadn't reached the level of a life or death grudge.

The referee teacher was sweating on his forehead. He wanted to intervene several times, but according to the rules, as long as one party hadn't surrendered or lost the ability to fight, the match could continue.

And now, with Uchiha Ryota's mouth stuffed, he indeed couldn't clearly surrender. This Sora was clearly exploiting a loophole for revenge. But this method of revenge was too.

Hiss. He felt pain just watching.

Finally, when Uchiha Ryota had been beaten until his face was swollen and bruised, curled up on the ground only able to emit weak moans, and had no strength left to struggle, the referee teacher couldn't bear to watch anymore. He used a Body Flicker Technique to appear in the middle of the arena, blocking Sora.

"Enough. Sora. The outcome is decided. Cease your attacks immediately." The referee said sternly, while quickly squatting down to pull the cloth bundle out of Ryota's mouth.

As soon as the cloth was removed, Ryota immediately let out a tearful, slurred wail.

"I sur.... surrender. I surrender. Don't hit me anymore. Waaah."

His gaze towards Sora was filled with fear, as if he had seen some demon, his body involuntarily curling backward.

Seeing this, Sora reluctantly stopped, shaking his wrist as if he had just done a warm up exercise. He looked down at the tear streaked Uchiha Ryota and said calmly, "Learn to speak properly from now on. Don't play with fire so recklessly. It's very dangerous."

These words made Uchiha Ryota shudder all over, burying his head even lower. The last remnants of resentment in his heart were completely replaced by fear, leaving only one thought. 'Demon. He's a demon. I must never provoke him again.'

Sora no longer paid attention to the shivering defeated opponent on the ground. He turned and walked off the stage. Under the gaze of countless complex looks, he calmly returned to the rest area.

Kurenai immediately handed him a water canteen, her eyes holding both admiration for Sora and a sense of vindication for avenging his previous grudge.

Sora smiled at her, took the canteen, and drank a mouthful of water.

Thus, the first person to advance from the first sub arena appeared. Class B, Sora.

Watching Sora in the distance taking the canteen to rest, Uchiha Obito silently recalled the words Sora had said that day. "Don't worry, I'm not that petty. I'm not a bad person either."

'...'

'This is basically a devil, right.'

Obito looked at Uchiha Ryota, who was being helped off the stage by two clansmen, and silently shed a tear of sympathy for him in his heart.

Not long after, the final four for the third sub arena were all determined. They were Sora, Genma Shiranui, Sarutobi Asuma, and Ibiki Morino.

With a record of five consecutive victories, Sora unsurprisingly occupied the top spot, advancing to the final matches tomorrow. Regrettably, Kurenai did not advance. Sora specifically cheered her up and encouraged her for a while.

And the scene of "Uchiha Ryota's Suffering" would undoubtedly become a topic of conversation for many people present during their leisure time, as well as a vivid lesson reminding themselves not to easily provoke that monster named Sora.
