Chapter 77 - I'll Support You!

It looked like Kita really wanted to go for a few more rounds, but Kanzaki Saku didn't want to delay too long with her.

Kanzaki Saku pulled out a few bills from inside and handed the wallet back to her. "One portion is fine. Yesterday was a special circumstance; no need to make it up."

Kita took the wallet. "Then is today the same as before?"

Kanzaki Saku looked at her.

Kita's eyes dodged his, but her body language betrayed her: the slightly leaning forward posture, the accelerated breathing, the flushed cheeks and neck.

She was anticipating it. Perhaps while the three were chatting earlier, she was already anticipating it. Inside her clothes, it might already be a total mess.

But Kanzaki Saku wasn't in a hurry. Instead, he brought up another topic.

"Just now, when Gotoh-san pulled you aside for a private chat, what did she say to you?"

Facing Kanzaki Saku, Kita had nothing to hide. "She said you were hers, and told me not to have any improper thoughts..."

Although Kanzaki Saku had guessed that Bocchi-chan definitely had feelings for him now, he hadn't expected her to be such a turn-off and so delusionally overconfident in front of others.

But this was actually good. The more delusional Bocchi-chan was, the more amusing it would be to revert her persona back at a critical moment in the future.

However, the protagonist right now was still Kita, so Kanzaki Saku asked her in return, "Then what do you think?"

'What do I think? Of course I want to do it hard right now! Who wants to play a Q&A game!'

It was only because the blood had rushed to her head that Kita dared to think this way; usually, she wouldn't even dare to imagine it.

"Do you think I am hers, or yours?" Seeing Kita remain silent, Kanzaki Saku continued to ask.

"Mine!" Kita shouted it out, then immediately covered her mouth in shame, looking at him with wet, misty eyes.

Seeing Kita's heated state, it seemed she couldn't hold back anymore, and Kanzaki Saku had played enough as well.

"Then let's do it," Kanzaki Saku smiled faintly. "But there's not much time—twenty minutes. Is that okay?"

"O-Okay!" Kita nodded vigorously.

Twenty minutes, ten minutes, even if it was only five minutes—

As long as she could be touched by him, as long as she could feel him, she was satisfied.

Kanzaki Saku took her hand and walked deeper into the pile of abandoned tables and chairs, where several relatively intact tables were pushed together.

"Lie down," Kanzaki Saku said.

'Even though I was the one who actively came for consultation...' This thought flashed through Kita's mind, but her body had already reacted before she could think.

She obediently sat down on the activity room's long table, which was lined with soft mats, and then slowly lay back. The solid texture of the wooden table was transmitted through the thin sports mat, carrying a hint of coolness.

But that bit of coolness was soon replaced by a sense of focus. She closed her eyes and adjusted her breathing.

She could feel Kanzaki Saku approaching, his figure blocking part of the light from the window.

He didn't start immediately. This brief pause made Kita involuntarily focus her attention even more.

"You didn't do a cooldown after training yesterday, so your muscles are very tight, right?" Kanzaki Saku's voice sounded from the side, clear and peaceful.

"Mhm..." Kita admitted softly.

"So today I'll help you do a complete relaxation session as a supplementary adjustment. Is that okay?" His wording was professional and natural.

"Mhm..." Kita was fully prepared at this moment.

"Just relax."

As his voice fell, Kanzaki Saku's hands landed gently. First touching her calves, which were somewhat tight from exercise.

Through the long sports socks, his palms were warm, applying steady force as they pushed and pressed slowly upwards along the muscle fibers.

His fingers carefully inspected her leg muscle groups, which were slightly stiff after exercise. When touching the sore and swollen areas on the back of her thighs caused by excessive training, Kita held her breath slightly, feeling the changes brought by the professional technique.

Kanzaki Saku, separated by the sports fabric, skillfully pushed, pressed, and kneaded, precisely finding those tension nodes formed by lactic acid accumulation. The afternoon sunlight spilled obliquely into the activity room, with tiny dust motes floating slowly in the pillars of light.

He could clearly feel the slightly heating skin under the fabric, and the detailed process of her muscles gradually relaxing under his professional technique.

"So stiff? It seems yesterday's training intensity was indeed not small," Kanzaki Saku spoke calmly, his tone carrying understanding.

Twenty minutes. Not short, yet not long.

Enough for Kanzaki Saku to complete a systematic post-exercise relaxation, and enough for Kita to feel two distinct waves of relief and recovery.

When Kanzaki Saku finally stopped his movements, Kita slowly sat up, as if she had undergone a deep rest.

Her tracksuit was slightly messy, the pleats of her short skirt hung naturally, her jacket was slightly open, and her over-the-knee socks had slid down to her ankles during the relaxation process.

She gazed peacefully at the greenery outside the window, her breathing even and deep. Her skin glowed with a healthy pale red due to promoted circulation, and fine beads of sweat seeped from her forehead.

Kanzaki Saku took out a prepared warm towel and began to carefully wipe her down. From her forehead to the side of her neck, and then to the leg muscle groups that had just been the focus of relaxation. The bell of the campus could be heard faintly from a distance outside the window, and the corners of the music scores spread out on the table were gently fluttered by the breeze.

This comprehensive care warmed Kita's heart slightly.

Because of Kanzaki Saku's attention to detail, Kita felt that this was not just a simple service, but carried sincere care.

After all, he could have just finished the basic process and ended it, since the relaxation was already done.

It was like going to the gym where the coach is not only professionally responsible but also pays extra attention to your recovery state; this dedication was indeed touching.

"Remember to do some warm-ups before going to band practice later," Kanzaki Saku admonished while tidying up the used towel.

"Mhm..." Kita responded softly, her body still retaining the soft sensation after total relaxation.

"I'll register the consultation fee later."

"Mhm..."

"Can you stand up by yourself?"

Kita tried, but her legs were still somewhat weak and she couldn't support herself steadily for the moment.

Kanzaki Saku reached out and supported her arm. "I'll walk you to the corridor."

Kita borrowed his support to rise slowly, letting him accompany her as they walked out. The cool draft in the hallway cleared her thoughts a bit, but the softness deep in her body from total relaxation remained clear.

When they were close to the teaching building area, and the sound of reading or teachers lecturing could be faintly heard from distant classrooms, Kanzaki Saku stopped.

"Let's stop here," he said, letting go of the hand supporting her. "You go in by yourself."

"Okay..." Kita stood up straight, smoothed out the obvious wrinkles on her shirt, pulled her skirt hem straight, and walked towards the classroom on her own.

After walking a few steps, she suddenly turned around and shouted towards Kanzaki Saku's back, which was already somewhat far away, raising her voice.

"Kanzaki-san!"

"What is it." Kanzaki Saku didn't stop, only tilting his head slightly.

"Where are you... going next?" Kita's voice echoed in the open space.

"You know." Kanzaki Saku's answer was ambiguous, but enough for Kita to understand.

"Can you not go?" Kita crumpled the corner of her clothes tightly.

"If I don't go, will you keep me?" Kanzaki Saku finally stopped, turned around, and although his expression was unclear against the light, his tone carried a teasing meaning.

Kita was stunned for a moment, and a rush of hot blood inexplicably surged to the top of her head. Regardless of everything, she shouted it out.

"I'll keep you!"

Brief silence.

Then, she saw Kanzaki Saku shake his head, seeming to chuckle low, his voice drifting over with the wind.

"Take care of yourself first, idiot."
