The moment Shiki's body began to fall—
El moved.
He caught him midair without hesitation.
At the same time—
lightning flashed.
Carina and Kuina, already in Asura Form, arrived instantly, teleporting through overlapping electric fields.
White mist burst from Carina's body as she released Kuina from Munch-Munch Space.
Then—
she spat out a familiar metal box.
A box that had been eaten and released countless times over the past week.
El placed Shiki's body beside it.
Without a word, he gestured.
Carina nodded.
And swallowed the box again.
One minute later—
the box was released once more.
At first glance, nothing had changed.
But when Shiki's body was lifted—
a single fruit now lay among the pile.
Its surface was covered in distinct spiral patterns, exuding a pressure unlike any ordinary Devil Fruit.
The Float-Float Fruit.
The undisputed Number One Manipulation-Type Paramecia.
"One of the three strategic-level Devil Fruits most suited to me…"
El's lips curved slightly.
"…is finally here."
He turned to the two girls.
"From now on—
we are unmatched."
Without hesitation—
El bit into the Devil Fruit.
The taste was as vile as legend claimed.
But he swallowed without pause.
Strategic-level Devil Fruits were never meant for ordinary people.
Just like the Quake-Quake Fruit—
without a monster like Whitebeard or Blackbeard, its reputation as a world-destroyer would never have existed.
Power like that demanded a body capable of bearing it.
The same was true for the Float-Float Fruit.
In El's eyes—
Shiki had never truly used it to its limit.
If Shiki possessed a monster's body—
he wouldn't have brought a fleet to fight Roger at Edd War.
He would have brought an archipelago.
But El was different.
His physique already surpassed ordinary humans.
At twelve years old—
and not yet thirteen—
his growth had only begun.
In a few more years—
his body would become truly unparalleled.
And when that happened—
the Float-Float Fruit would become a calamity on the same level as the Quake-Quake Fruit.
El swallowed the last bite.
And casually tossed the remainder aside.
Then—
he crouched.
And placed his palm on the ground.
The instant his hand made contact—
the island shook violently.
Not from impact.
Not from shockwaves.
But as if something enormous was grasping the island itself.
The earth trembled.
The White Sea churned.
At an altitude of seven thousand meters, the clouds surged like a storming ocean.
A low, thunderous roar echoed.
The mountain that had been split earlier—
along with the surrounding earth—
liquefied.
Drawn together as if by an invisible magnet.
They fused.
Twisted.
Rose.
An earth dragon, hundreds of meters tall, formed before their eyes.
Its body blocked the sky.
Its presence radiated an unnatural spiritual pressure.
As it looked down over the island—
it roared.
Even though it was nothing but earth—
it felt alive.
Carina stood frozen.
Kuina's breath caught.
Even the ferocious beasts that had just awakened from unconsciousness collapsed again in terror.
"The ultimate manipulation ability…"
El watched calmly.
"Earth. Seawater. Even weather itself."
"As long as stamina is sufficient—
everything is a weapon."
"This is the strongest Paramecia for sea, land, and air."
El raised his hand again.
"And it suits me perfectly."
The frozen earth dragon trembled—
then awakened once more.
With another roar—
its massive body soared upward.
Higher.
Higher.
Until it transformed—
into a colossal meteor suspended above the White Sea.
El flicked his finger.
The meteor shot away at terrifying speed.
BOOM—!!!
When El released control—
the meteor plummeted.
It smashed through the White Sea, unleashing a massive water column that pierced the sky.
The enormous mass continued downward—
breaking through clouds—
accelerating—
air distorting around it—
igniting into a blazing inferno as it fell toward the blue sea seven thousand meters below.
If a city lay beneath it—
it would be erased.
If an island—
annihilated.
If a fleet—
gone without a trace.
Even the sea itself would give birth to a devastating tsunami.
Aware of this—
El slowed the meteor's descent.
Only then did he nod in satisfaction.
He turned back to the two girls.
"Let's go."
"It's time to return."
Carina and Kuina remained speechless.
They had watched a mountain become a dragon.
A dragon become a meteor.
And a meteor fall from the heavens.
They finally understood—
The sea had just welcomed a new calamity.
