Swelling…
After receiving the Flameblade, Akainu's ego could barely fit inside the tavern.
The moment he grasped its true power, he even entertained the insane thought of storming the Four Emperors' territories alone—one man, one sword, and a burning sense of righteousness.
The Flameblade—ranked third among all weapons in the Supergod universe's arsenal—resonated directly with solar energy.
That meant its output, radiation, and destructive potential were off the charts.
A single strike could vaporize mountains.
Even Kaido, the so-called "strongest creature," would end up a puddle of molten scales and regret.
At that moment, Rayleigh froze mid-sip, and beside him, the Holy Master's eyes widened.
They'd both heard Akainu's muttering—quiet, but unmistakably bloodthirsty.
Slowly, the two demons and the old pirate turned toward him.
And right then, Akainu also turned—Flameblade gleaming crimson in hand, a "friendly" smile tugging at his lips.
They locked eyes.
Rayleigh moved first—leaping over the counter in one impossibly fluid spin for a man past seventy. He landed behind Ronn and shouted,
"Come on, Akainu! Hit me! If you don't swing that thing today, I'll look down on you forever!"
Akainu's face darkened instantly.
Oh, so now you hide behind the bartender? Cowardly old fossil!
Come out here and see if I don't carve you into sashimi!
"The Flameblade's power is far too strong for this world," Ronn said evenly.
"If you want to keep experimenting, best use something else."
Liang Bing's genetic "gifts" to Doflamingo—fire and frost—looked flashy, but were basically weaker, cosmetic versions of the Flame-Flame and Ice-Ice fruits.
The Flameblade, however… broke every rule of this world's balance.
"Hmm… true," Keisha mused, tapping her chin. "Then let's retrieve the Flameblade and reconstruct your body into a Second-Generation Divine Form."
The blade shimmered, and with a ripple of warped space, vanished from Akainu's grasp.
He stared at his empty hand, heart dropping like a stone.
My happiness… it's gone.
You give a man heaven—and then take it right back.
The glorious dream of singlehandedly toppling the Four Emperors shattered in a heartbeat.
A low hum rippled around him; the air vibrated. A mechanical voice echoed inside his skull:
[Unlocking dark seal… transmitting quantum key… initializing Second-Generation Divine Body integration. Current progress: 30%.]
Keisha's quantum analysis began mapping the world around him, establishing wormhole bridges, aligning molecular architecture, and then—fusing divine DNA into Akainu's being.
Within moments, his body evolved.
Genes rearranged, cells reinforced; his vitality surged beyond human limits.
It lasted five full minutes.
When it ended, Akainu's body was transformed.
If the man before had been a soldier—now he was a weapon.
A living engine of heat and power. Even without his magma fruit, one punch could turn a mountain into dust.
He clenched his fist, feeling divine energy coursing through him.
A slow grin crept across his face.
My happiness is back again…
But Keisha's next words slapped him like cold rain.
"Don't celebrate too soon," she said mildly.
"You're only physically stronger. The Flameblade's power still eclipses you by far."
"Still, it's enough for a Fleet Admiral."
"Second-Generation?" Akainu asked, frowning. "So there are higher tiers?"
Keisha nodded. "I am Fourth-Generation. That witch too."
"The Fourth-Generation Divine Body transcends biology—it's conceptual life. Immortal, indestructible."
Her eyes shifted toward Ronn. "And… I suspect he might be the same."
Akainu felt a sharp pain in his chest.
That awful realization—
The moment you thought you'd reached the summit, only to see another peak towering above.
Still, he learned something critical:
Never cross Ronn. Ever.
Ronn sighed helplessly. "You two were having such a nice class—don't drag me into your vendettas."
Keisha chuckled, lips curling.
"This world isn't worthy of you, Ronn. Come to Sky City instead. Two lines of angels would bow in welcome!"
"I'll pass," Ronn said, shaking his head. He didn't need to imagine it—he'd seen what angels could do behind the wheel.
Their "car techniques" were legendary. Drainpipes, sharp turns, zero mercy.
Rayleigh perked up—then wisely shut his mouth. One wrong joke, and Keisha might smite him out of existence.
"Then, my queen, I'll take my leave." Akainu rose slowly. "I have a mission—and a world to correct."
Keisha took a final sip of her drink. "Then I hope next time I see you, your results speak for themselves."
Akainu nodded solemnly and turned to leave—
but at the door, he glanced back and smirked.
"Old man," he said to Rayleigh, "come outside if you've got guts. Stop hiding behind Ronn like a mangy mutt."
Rayleigh just gave a lazy shrug. Why wrestle with a lunatic?
Before he could retort, the Holy Master sidled over and discreetly pressed two talismans into his hand—each etched with animal symbols.
"Take these—the Rabbit and the Ox talismans. Beat that hothead down!"
Rayleigh raised a brow. "Really? Why don't you do it yourself then?"
The Holy Master sighed. "Without the boss's approval, I can't touch people from this world. I like living, you know."
That much, Rayleigh believed. Between Ronn and the terrifying Lucoa, even the devil had learned fear.
He grinned. "Alright then, boy. Don't cry later!"
"Today, I'll show you—new-era toys can't beat the old school craftsmanship of vintage steel!"
Before Akainu could react—BAM!
A blur hit his face; his body spun like a windmill and crashed out through the tavern doors.
What followed was a one-sided beatdown.
Rayleigh, powered by the Rabbit's speed and the Ox's brute force, pummeled Akainu relentlessly.
Thankfully, Akainu's new divine body kept him from dying outright; every wound healed almost instantly, allowing him to land a few defiant blows of his own.
Inside, Ronn's mind chimed with the familiar tone of the system:
[Ding! Customer Keisha has completed her confession.]
[Ding! Customers Holy Master, Demon Dragon, and Akainu have completed their confessions.]
[Customer Keisha: Eye of Insight, Flame Bombardment, Sacred Domain, Divine Body. Choose one ability.]
[Customer Holy Master: Rooster Talisman, Ox Talisman, Horse Talisman…]
"I'll take Keisha's Divine Body," Ronn murmured. "Fuse it tonight."
The tavern was still crowded; best not to trigger divine transformation in public.
From the rest, he selected the Ox Talisman, Demon Power Burst, and Akainu's Observation Haki.
Then—
Ding-ling…
The tavern door creaked open again.
And in the doorway stood a creature—skin a deep jade-green, a massive needle-like tail arched behind it, dripping with venom.
Its cold, vertical eyes locked onto Ronn.
The air grew heavy.
