Roxing returned to Wano.
Zoro, having finally gathered all three of his famed blades—including the newly earned black blade Shusui—went straight into the five-times-gravity chamber to train without resting for a second.
Roxing, meanwhile, walked into the Shogun's office, where his wife Yamato was buried beneath piles of official documents.
The moment Yamato saw him, her tense brows relaxed at once. She leapt into his arms with the joy of a child.
"Hubby, you're back!"
Roxing held her slender waist tight, breathing in that familiar, addictive scent around her neck.
After a moment, he murmured,
"Wife, sit down."
Yamato obediently sat.
Roxing moved behind her and placed his hands on her shoulders, gently kneading.
Yamato let out a blissful sigh. "You're so good to me…"
He leaned closer, whispering in her ear:
"If you think I'm good… tonight you'll give me a massage too—but not with your hands."
Yamato's cheeks flushed scarlet. She gave him a sideways glare—but still nodded ever so faintly.
Roxing nearly burst with joy.
Compared to Perona, Yamato was on a whole different level. A massage from her would undoubtedly feel divine.
Still, even though she was enjoying the massage, a shadow lingered between Yamato's brows.
Roxing frowned.
"What's troubling you? Tell me."
Yamato let out a deep sigh.
"Hubby… the more I serve as Shogun, the more I realize how naïve I used to be."
"I thought if I chased off Father and that Kurozumi Orochi, restored the Kozuki clan to power, then Wano would naturally become happy."
"But after these months as Shogun, I've learned it's nowhere near that simple."
"The land of Wano is poor. The soil is poor. The economy is a mess. Even without Orochi's exploitation, people still struggle to eat."
She wasn't wrong.
Wano had always been poor—not just because of Kaido or Orochi.
The land was barren, opportunities scarce, and the country's closed-border policy only made it worse.
The Kozuki clan had never truly brought prosperity—only minimal stability.
And as for Kozuki Oden, the one man who could have improved Wano… he was a complete airhead who didn't understand politics, agriculture, or governance. His downfall was inevitable.
Roxing had long understood all this.
"Then what do you want?" he asked.
Yamato answered without hesitation.
"I want to create a world where everyone can eat their fill!"
Roxing raised a brow.
If he remembered correctly, the original protagonist—Sun God Nika Luffy—had said something similar when defeating Kaido. But Luffy only wanted his friends to eat their fill.
Yamato's ambition far surpassed that.
Roxing chuckled.
"That's quite the grand dream, wife. But dreams start from your own land. Let's begin with Wano."
Yamato's eyes sparkled like gemstones as she turned toward him.
"Hubby… you'll help me?"
Roxing tapped her nose. "You're my wife. If I don't help you, who would I help?"
Yamato squealed happily, leaping up and locking her legs around Roxing's waist, her snowy arms curling around his neck.
"You're the best!"
Of course, Roxing's "kindness" always came with expectations attached.
That night, Yamato used her entire body to repay him—so intensely her arms and legs were sore by morning.
…
The next day, Roxing walked into his laboratory.
Inside stood a Cybertronian—one of the highly intelligent mechanical lifeforms he created. Agile and precise, this one had been left behind specifically as his assistant.
"Bring me the grain seeds," he ordered.
How was he going to solve Wano's starvation problem?
Previously, he had imported grain from other countries. But that was expensive, unsustainable, and unreliable.
So he decided to improve seeds themselves—creating super high-yield grain, just like a great scientist of his previous life.
Genetic improvements—called "Lineage Factor" modifications in this world—were nothing new to him.
If he could make Monster Cells and artificial Devil Fruits, modifying crops was trivial.
It didn't take long for Roxing to produce his super seeds.
With seeds solved, the next obstacle was manpower.
Wano's population was small.
Actual working adults were even fewer.
Tools were primitive.
Farming efficiency was abysmal.
Roxing glanced at his Cybertronian and immediately had an idea.
He would upgrade it into a multi-function agricultural-industrial robot.
Several days later—
He brought his new creation to Yamato in the Shogun's residence.
Yamato's eyes nearly popped out of her head.
The commotion drew everyone else over.
Little Tama circled Roxing with her mouth wide open.
"This is a seed? Why is it so big?!"
Roxing held up the modified grain.
"Because these are super seeds. They can adapt to harsh environments, and each acre can yield at least a thousand jin of grain."
Three voices sucked in cold air at once—
Tenguyama Hitetsu, Koshiro, and his grandfather Koushirou (Shimotsuki Kozaburo).
The old masters stared at the seed, trembling.
"T-This… this can really yield a thousand jin?"
Roxing only smiled.
With his status, did he need to lie?
The three immediately understood and dropped to their knees.
"Roxing-sama, your merit is immeasurable—please accept our deepest bow!"
Though none of them had warm feelings toward Kaido or the Beasts Pirates, the importance of grain to Wano was so immense that gratitude overwhelmed everything else.
Roxing lifted them up and brought the group to see the Cybertronian.
Compared to the old version, the new machine had added multiple components.
The most eye-catching was the massive shovel-claw at the front.
Tama touched it curiously.
"Big brother, what's this for?"
Roxing explained:
"That shovel is for digging. This multi-function Cybertronian can transform into an excavator, bulldozer, plowing tractor, and harvester."
Everyone—Tama, Yamato, the three old masters—was stunned.
Not only had Roxing created super seeds…
He had also prepared every tool needed for planting, tilling, and harvesting.
The three old men now looked at him with something beyond gratitude—almost religious awe.
Each of his inventions could reshape the world.
If these seeds and machines were implemented throughout Wano, within six months the nation would be entirely self-sufficient.
And hunger?
Hunger would vanish from Wano forever.
Wano could very well become a paradise on the sea.
