Chapter 95 - Veteran Actor Kizaru: “I’ll Just Toss a Big Move Before Retreating…”

Jin held a tiny pistol to Kizaru's head, telling him not to move.

Sentomaru, who had been overflowing with confidence earlier, was now deeply anxious for the Pacifistas.

He had originally been thrilled seeing Admiral Kizaru prepare to take action — but Jin's interruption completely ruined that hope.

Sentomaru sneered inwardly:

"You think just saying 'don't move' will stop Kizaru-san? Who do you think you're dealing with?"

Although Sentomaru had heard rumors that Jin, after consuming an advanced Monster Cell invented by the Fifth Emperor Roxing, now possessed strength comparable to an Admiral…

Kizaru was no ordinary figure.

He was an established top-tier powerhouse — even among the Admiral-level fighters, his ranking was near the top.

Sentomaru absolutely did not believe Kizaru would actually feel threatened by Jin.

However—

To his complete shock, even jaw-dropping disbelief…

The moment Jin finished speaking, Kizaru immediately raised both hands and surrendered.

"What a frightening presence… truly fitting for the Flame-Disaster," Kizaru said with exaggerated fear.

And then… he actually stood still.

Sentomaru: "!!!???"

All the Marines: "Eh?!?!"

Even Jin's mouth twitched beneath his mask.

Before coming here, Young Master Roxing specifically warned Jin that in this Punk Hazard confrontation, it was highly likely an Admiral would be sent.

If it were Akainu — no need to worry too much.

Jin had clashed with him once and knew how to cope.

If it were Aokiji — also manageable.

Aokiji lacked flight, while Jin and the Cybertronians could freely take to the sky.

But if it were Kizaru — extreme caution was required.

Reason one: The Glint-Glint Fruit gave Kizaru unmatched speed.

Reason two — the most dangerous part — was that Kizaru was an absolute master actor.

No one knew when he was serious or when he was putting on a show.

Just like now.

Jin genuinely had no idea what Kizaru was trying to do.

A tiny pistol making an Admiral surrender?

Ridiculous — even Jin didn't believe that.

The scene grew increasingly bizarre.

Meanwhile, the battle between the Cybertronians and Pacifistas continued.

The enormous explosion from earlier had destroyed three more Pacifistas.

Only six remained operational.

Roxing's Cybertronians, however, had not taken even a scratch.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Energy pulses launched repeatedly from the Cybertronians.

The Pacifistas' lasers were completely outmatched.

Combined with their bulky builds and slow speed, the Pacifistas had no way to dodge.

In the blink of an eye, two more units were destroyed.

From ten Pacifistas… more than half were gone.

Sentomaru watched in agony — these machines were incredibly expensive to manufacture.

They were practically his treasured creations.

"Kizaru-san, what are you doing?! Why aren't you helping!?" Sentomaru screamed internally, glaring at him.

Kizaru felt the stare, shrugged, and said lazily:

"If the Pacifistas have a combat power of six thousand… then those Cybertronians must be at least ten thousand."

"The equipment gap is too big. This battle can't be won, Sentomaru."

He wasn't wrong.

Just as Jin had stated earlier, he could hold off Kizaru for a while.

And given the Cybertronians' overwhelming power, that time was more than enough to obliterate the Pacifistas and every Marine on the island.

The situation was exactly as Kizaru said — unwinnable.

But Kizaru's real reason for doing nothing was much simpler…

Even though he could temporarily distract Jin — letting Sentomaru and the Marines act as shields — and with his own speed kick all the Cybertronians away…

Doing so meant Marines would die.

And more importantly—

Kizaru had no desire to risk his life over this tiny paycheck.

Even if he fought now, what about next time?

What if the Beasts Pirates sent two Disasters… or Kaido himself?

No matter how he calculated it, it was a losing deal.

Kizaru absolutely wasn't doing that.

And since Jin was conveniently pointing a toy-sized gun at him… Kizaru simply played along.

Sentomaru, enraged, shouted:

"So you're just going to let all the Pacifistas get destroyed?! How are we supposed to face Fleet Admiral Sengoku and Dr. Vegapunk!?"

Kizaru nodded thoughtfully.

Sentomaru had a point.

He needed to make it look like he tried.

He turned and ordered:

"Everyone retreat. Return to Marineford. Sentomaru, have the Pacifistas withdraw. Don't let them all get wiped out."

Sentomaru looked utterly defeated.

With such a superior… how was anyone supposed to survive this job?

But since Kizaru refused to fight, Sentomaru had no choice.

Thus occurred one of the strangest scenes in history—

The battle between the Navy and the Beasts Pirates ended in less than five minutes… with the Navy running away entirely.

Totally opposite to Roxing's expectation of a major war.

But then again — this was Kizaru.

Even the most powerful Observation Haki couldn't predict his choices.

Marines scrambled onto the warships.

Kizaru boarded first.

The remaining four Pacifistas sprinted across the sea, almost catching up to the ship…

When suddenly—

Five Cybertronians burst out of the ocean, grabbed the Pacifistas, and tore them apart mid-air.

Marines stood frozen, horrified.

Sentomaru clutched his chest — all Pacifistas gone.

Kizaru exhaled in relief.

"These Cybertronians… transformation is one thing, but underwater combat too? With such a difference in equipment… this battle is truly unwinnable."

He was quite satisfied with his decision to retreat immediately.

Then Sentomaru asked bitterly:

"Kizaru-san… aren't you afraid Fleet Admiral Sengoku will blame you for this?"

Kizaru nodded again.

Sentomaru had a point.

If he didn't at least pretend to try… the higher-ups would complain.

So — he had to "perform" properly.

Kizaru rose into the air, thinking:

"If we can't hold Punk Hazard… then I may as well destroy it myself. That counts as a result."

"I'll just toss a big move before leaving — for formality's sake."

He crossed his fingers together and announced dramatically:

"Yasakani no Magatama!"

ZWOOM ZWOOM ZWOOM!

Countless golden light bullets rained down like a storm onto Punk Hazard.

If these hit, the entire SAD production facility would be ruined.

Jin could not allow that.

He instantly transformed into a massive dark winged dragon, flames blazing around his body, and charged straight toward the incoming barrage.

BOOM BOOM BOOM!

Thousands of golden shots struck Jin's dragon body—

tearing it apart into pieces.

But before the Marines could celebrate—

Jin's body regenerated instantly, standing unharmed.

The Lunarian race — the so-called gods of the Red Line — could survive in any extreme environment.

As long as the flame on their back remained lit… they were nearly unkillable.

Realizing his attack had no effect, Kizaru landed back on the ship and immediately ordered departure.

"It's not that I didn't try," he muttered, "the opponent is just too strong… welp, time to go."

And off he went.
