Dante couldn't sleep, the soldier pill was keeping him awake.

it was too much, Dante's body started to crack.

Giving up bloodlines and any form of energy, so basically just be a normal person. What use will the system be if I'll only be able to train physically, maybe not even beyond a normal human, since my body won't be using chakra to reinforce it.

As for stats, your stats will still increase, but you won't be able to see them or interact with them and your jutsu/skills will be replaced with a progress bar instead of certain numbers and you will only be able to "feel" where your levels are at.
What will happen to the free stats I get from quests, if I can't interact with them?
They will be used at random.
Will the inventory disappear if I get rid of dungeons?
Yes, all quest rewards will appear physically.
Ok, I can live without interacting with stats and the jutsu/skills degrade isn't a big deal either. I'll have to go based off feeling like everyone else in the world.
So..... Dungeons or Quests.....
Dungeons give random rewards, so far they haven't disappointed, and I can gain stats for higher clear scores.
Now quests, I haven't had an official mission for being a ninja, but the difficulty of the quest obviously determines the rewards. If it's anything like dungeons, that will mean I'll have to do high level missions for stat rewards.
Official mission will also mean I'm required to always be a part of a village, or organization of some sort.
If I choose dungeons, how will I obtain dungeon keys, damn I really need quests and dungeons. Dante thought to himself, then he asked.

Giving up the Godseed, it means your path to Godhood won't be guaranteed through the system. You can still obtain Godhood, but most likely you won't.
If Godhood means supervising the universe for all eternity, I'm good. All I want to do is live my life how I want. As long as I do that, everything else doesn't matter. If later down the line I choose to chase Godhood, I'll do it even without the systems guarantee.
Besides, the other options aren't any better.

The color in the room returned, time resumed. The damage to the room remained and Dante was still absorbing chakra, but his body wasn't cracking or turning to stone and he wasn't showing any signs of blowing up.
Dante remained still like that for an hour.
Within that hour, everyone started appearing. First it was Tyr, he lived nearby so he noticed the chakra first.
Then some anbu appeared, they had been to ld to remain in the area, just in case someone attacked again. Then some jonin showed up, and finally the hokage appeared.
Some of them went into Dantes room, but most stood outside in defensive formations.
They were all ready for combat.
Tyr, what's going on now? Asked Hiruzen when he entered Dantes room.
I don't know hokage, he has been absorbing chakra since I before I got here.
It's not chakra he's absorbing, it's natural energy said Hiruzen.
Natural energy?
All ninja in the room were confused. Natural energy wasn't widely known and most people couldn't even detect it.
What's natural energy asked Shin Nara.
No one spoke.
Hiruzen was in a daze, just staring at Dante.
Then Shikaku spoke up.
Natural energy is the energy of sage's. The first hokage was know to use it and so do the three legendary sanin.
There are very few who can sense it. It requires specialized training to absorb and not everyone can absorb it.
Then Tyr spoke up.
So what does that mean? Will he be alright? Is he going to die?
Hiruzen snapped out of his daze.

Shikaku, Kakashi, Guy, Tyr!
Disperse the ninja outside, don't let anyone else in!! And have the anbu patrol the compound.
Shin, Oki, Chizu, Asuma, Kurenai, Ibiki, you all stand guard outside.
All the ninja immediately dispersed as they were ordered.
They were all confused, but they followed orders. None of knew about what this all meant or what's going on. They just knew it was serious since the hokage was taking it extremely seriously.
Outside, Chizu asked.
Shin, why did you drag us here? What is wrong with that kid?
That kid....he is important. I don't know why yet, but I'll figure it out. As for what's happening to him, I don't know. I've never seen anything like that.
Me neither said Oki.
Cizu remained silent, if Shin didn't know what was going on then she wouldn't question him anymore.
Asuma, Kurenai and Ibiki, all heard what Shin said.
They all remained silent and stood guard.
Shikaku returned.
Hokage, Danzo is outside demanding entry, Kakashi and the rest are keeping him from entering, but he has called in his root ninja.
Hiruzen flickered outside.
As soon as he appeared, everyone looked his way.
Danzo! Leave.... Now!
Hiruzen what's going on here, I demand you tell me. Said Danzo.
Danzo, I'm telling you to leave! That's an order!
No one around had ever seen Hiruzen this angry before.
Hiruzen, something is going on in there and you need to tell me, it could put the leaf at harm.
Danzo wasn't backing down or leaving. His root ninja started appearing.
Danzo! I'm the Hokage, not you!
Root ninja! Leave the area, this is an order from your hokage!
None of the root ninja moved, they were trained to only follow Danzo's orders.
Hiruzen grew even angrier.
Danzo, your position of village elder will be revoked. You will no longer be recruiting anymore ninja into root. The ninja you currently have in training will be returned to their clans and the orphans will be returned to the leaf.
Danzo was surprised, then he got angry.
Hiruzen you can't do that without the approval of the the village elders.
Danzo, I told you to leave. I gave you an official order. You're lucky I don't remove root entirely.
Now leave, before I have you apprehended for disobeying orders.
Danzo grit his teeth and spoke.
You will regret this Hiruzen....
Then he left and all his root ninja left with him.
Hiruzen then spoke.
Everyone guard the area.
Then he flickered back to Dante and observed.
An hour passed.
The absorbtion slowed until it stopped completely.
Dante, remained still, eyes still closed.
Shikaku, bring me the best medica....
Before he could finish, Dante went through a transformation.
His black hair grew longer and had white streaks going through it, he grew a couple inches, he was now about 6ft 3inches, his body gradually became more full of muscle and was no longer malnourished. He looked like he had aged,He grew another pair of horns, coming out of his forehead, they were about 3 inches in length.
The most noticeable change was the wings on his back, they were large and bloody.
Hiruzen looked on, his fist tightened.
I should kill him now, before he can fully grow.... Thought Hiruzen.
Before he could make up his mind, Dante opened his eyes.
What the hell happened?
I don't know kid, you tell me answered Hiruzen.
Who are you? Why are you in my house? In my room?
Dante had opened his eyes, but everything was a blur.
Hiruzen didn't respond, he waited for Dante to recover.
Dante then rubbed his eyes, only then did he see it was Hiruzen, dressed in his combat gear.
Oh, hokage. It's you.

What happened to me? What do you mean, I was just sleeping.
Look around Dante, you weren't just sleeping.
Dante then looked around and noticed the state of his room, it was mostly destroyed.
His bed was crushed, his walls were cracked, his floor was destroyed where he stood.
The last thing I remembered was accepting my quest mission.....He thought to himself.
Hokage, the last thing I remember is going to sleep.
I see.... I don't know exactly what happened to you, but I know you were absorbing natural energy.
Tell me, what exactly are you?
Dante was confused at the question. Hiruzen already knew about his appearance, so why is he asking that.
Hokage, I don't understand. I've been in the village since I was a baby.
I'm just a striving leaf ninja.
Dante then tried moving and instantly tripped.
He stood up and looked at himself, he noticed he was bigger. He hadn't noticed when he looked at Hiruzen. He was always taller than him, but now he noticed he was significantly taller than the hokage.
Once he locked behind him, he was startled.
He saw, big bloody wings.
Then he touched his face, the first thing he noticed was the extra pair of horns, then he noticed his facial structure changed.
He wanted to look in a mirror, but the hokage was still here.
Hokage, I'm fine now. Is there anything you need from me?
Dante, your appearance has changed a lot.
I can feel you've gotten stronger.
I'm afraid I can't just leave you be now.
This is the second time I've had to come out here.
I'm leaving some anbu here, to make sure nothing else happens to you.
Thank you hokage, I have academy tomorrow so I have to get some rest.

Outside, the ninja on guard received orders.
We're leaving? What even happened? Chizu asked Shin.
Chizu it's best to keep quiet about this, the hokage has already ordered everyone here to keep this secret.
I know Shin, but I'm so confused. We show up and the kid inside is just standing still, supposedly he's absorbing chakra or natural energy, but why?
Then the hokage gets all serious and has everyone who didn't see leave.
Then Danzo shows up and disobeys the hokage.
Now we're supposed to leave, without any sort of explanation. What am I supposed to tell my clan leader?
Shin she makes a good point, Choza and Inoichi will ask us about this since we showed up.

Shikaku left with the hokage, Guy left once he was ordered and Kakashi put on his anbu mask and stayed.
Inside, Dante was cleaning himself.
His clothes didn't fit anymore, they were tight and ripped in some places.
When he stepped into the shower blood was all he saw going down the drain. He thought about cutting his hair, but in the end he didn't.
Once out of his shower he noticed his wings were pure white.
He tried controlling them, he struggled. He was able to move them after a bit of time, but it would take longer for him to learn to fly with them.
Back in his room, he looked around.
Everything is such a mess, I'll have to sleep in another room, my bed is destroyed anyway. I'll just sleep on the floor.
Dante went to the other room on the same floor.
Once there he extended his arms outward, then his wings.
These wings extend past my arms, almost 2ft past my hands.
He then ran his hands on his feathers, they were smooth.
I'll have to use transformation jutsu to hide them, I'm already not popular in the village.
Once he had the thought to hide them, his wings disappeared, he looked as though he hadn't grown any.
What the hell, that's awesome.
He then wanted them to reapear, and they did.
That's convenient, this second bloodline is pretty good so far.
I'll have to test them out in combat, I wouldn't wanna be fighting while having them out for my enemy to break them.
What would happen if they were ripped off, would they grow back? Probably not, since I can't grow other body parts.
Anyways, I have to check the limitations of my system now.
"System status"
A status screen appeared, it only displayed his skills and jutsu.
It displayed a progress bar next to his jutsu names.
He could no longer interact with them, he couldn't see the exp he had in them or the exp required to level them up.
All he could see were the levels.
The first thing he noticed was his minor natural energy absorbtion.
It had leveled up to level 10.
The next thing he saw was a skill for spears.
Spear proficiency level 2.
Increases training speed with spears by 2%.
Then he looked at his sword skill it was now at level 7.
His light bullet was now level 8 and his light Release was now level 8. Light wave went up to level 4 and light projection went up to level 4.
He didn't see anything for his second bloodline, no new skills or jutsu.
Then he tried looking at his stats, but just as expected. He couldn't.
I'll have to go based off feeling from now on, it sucks I won't be able to check my progress for my stats anymore.
He tried feeding out his chakra. He had never tried that before, but he did know how it felt when his chakra expanded significantly because of the chakra pill he had eaten.
My chakra feels like it increased, and not by a small amount, four or five time.
Since my body is no longer malnourished and I grew in height and muscle, I think it's safe to assume my stats increased as well.
I don't know by how much, but I definitely feel stronger.
I'll have to compare whenever I spar or fight someone.
Since I no longer receive random quests or training quests, I'll put all my time into training my jutsu. I'll have get another sword and a spear to train those up.
Once i graduate and get placed on a squad, I'll get dungeon keys from missions.
I'll have to get to chunin as fast as possible.
I can't just do D-Rank missions for months.
I need to take higher level missions, and I will only be able to take missions whenever my jonin instructor decides. Not to mention with how strong I feel now, my squad will just hold me back.
Well whatever.
I'll just focus on training for now, I'll see what I can do once I graduate.
It's pretty late, I'll go to sleep now.
Dante then went to his living room and grabbed all his clothes and took them to his room.
Once there he put them all down in a pile and layed on top of them.
Morning came too soon.
Dante woke up and stretched, then he got up.
Damn that sucked.
I need a new bed, and new cloths.
Looks like I need to find a way to make money.
I still have the money Sara gave me but I already grew out of them.
What will I do if I have another growth spurt.....
I'll buy a pair of pants and a shirt, I'll use the pants that don't fit me anymore as shorts and I'll use them for training. I'll buy a shirt and a pair of pants that fit me. I won't need a shirt for training so I'll just use it whenever I walk around the village.
As for food..... I can use the rest for food.
I don't think it will last until graduation, with this increase in size I'm betting my appetite also increased.
Maybe I can ask the hokage for some funds, or if he can just promote me to chunin.
Yeah right, wishful thinking. I probably have to complete a certain amount of missions before I can get promoted to chunin.
I really need to find a way to make money.....
I'll ask my classmates for some work again, I won't get missions anymore but I just getting paid is also good.
After all his thinking Dante walked over to his bathroom and brushed his teeth. While there he got a good look at himself.
I look older now, and I felt the new pair of horns. Still looking at them is different than just feeling them. I should be able to kill someone with these, but I don't wanna try it out. What if they break.... My eyes are still red, but my hair has some white highlights now.
I wonder if I can just hide my horns like my wings...
Nothing.... I guess I'm stuck with them.
Dante then put on the baggiest clothes he had, but they were still tight and barely fit him.
Dante walked outside and he noticed things looks smaller.
He walked down the street and out of the Senju compound. People looked smaller, he could see the top some people's heads.
First, I'll got and buy a shirt and pants.
Then I can go to the academy.
After some struggle Dante found a store that didn't turn him away at the door. No one wanted anything to do with a horned man.
Inside the store Dante tried on shirts and pants and bought the first ones that fit him.
He left the store wearing his new clothes, he carried the smaller clothes with him.
He planned on using them for training.
Now I'll got to the academy and train until I can go back home, then I'll buy food before I get home.
Dante continued walking, he saw Taka at the entrance again.
Is there any point in fighting him? I mean, I won't get a mission or any rewards...
Well whatever, I'll fight him anyway to test out my new strength.
Taka, I'll see you at the training grounds after class. Dante said as he walked by.
Taka didn't say anything, he just waited a while before he walked to class.
At the class room, Dante looked around.
Everyone was staring at him.
Some of the kids heard what happened last night. Most were clan kids, but some civilian kids had heard some ninjas whispering about it. They all knew Dante was at the Senju compound at the time it was attacked, but only the clan kids knew Dante had killed some of the ninja that attacked. Even less knew about the second incident that occurred there.
Setto and Sena were both absent.
Sora was staring at him, she looked surprised. Take, Agui and Haro were also surprised. Dante walked up to them.
Hey what's up guys.
Take was the first to speak.
Dante what happened to you, you look like an adult and you've grown tall, taller than Haro.
Oh, I don't know I just had a growth spurt. I've been eating a lot everyday and it looks like that's what my body needed.
Agui asked, Dante what happened last night?
Word around my clan is the Senju compound was attacked by sand ninja. They say you were also attacked, but why were you there that late?
Yeah, there was an attack last night. I was there because I live there now, Setto gave me a house to stay at and it's better than staying where I used to stay at.
Haro didn't speak, after his initial surprise he ignored Dante.
Is it true? Did you kill your attacker Dante? Asked Take.
Before Dante answered he noticed Haro was no longer looking at him, instead he had his eyes shut.
What the hell, is this guy ignoring me? What did I do to him?
Oh that, yeah I fought him inside my new house, he destroyed my kitchen.
Before they could continue the conversation teacher Lanko stepped inside.
Everyone to your seats.
At his front desk, teacher Lanko looked around. He stopped at Dante for a while, he was initially surprised at how big he was now. Today we will continue doing the same as the last couple days, tomorrow we will have class sparing, so I can assess your progress and give you guidance if needed.

At his words, everyone started heading to their usual training spots. Some kids went to the library, most went outside and some kids stayed in the class and pulled out books.
Dante went outside, his first fight was with Taka Inuzuka. He was confident it would be easy, no tricks this time, he would just fight him head on.
Dante, what the hell happened to you? Asked Taka.
Dante was surprised, he hadn't expected Taka to ask about him.
Just a growth spurt Taka.
We going to chat or fight?
Obviously we're going to fight, I was just curious you're stronger that you were yesterday. That's what my instincts tell me.
Dante walked up to Taka.
Taka had been on guard ever since he saw Dante walk out of the building, he wasn't about to be ambushed again.
Once Dante was close Taka took the initiative to strike first.
He punched Dante with a left hook and hit him in the right cheek.
Dante didn't dodge or block, he just let the punch land.
It hurt, but Dante remained in place. He didn't move an inch and it hurt less than it usually would.
Taka followed up with a right hook aiming at Dantes left cheek.
This time Dante concentrated, Taka was slower that usually. That was Dantes initially thought, then he moved.
Dante moved forward and ducked under the right hook, he then punched Taka in the stomach.
Taka had no time to react, he folded up once Dante punched him. He didn't remember Dante being that fast, or hitting that hard.
After that exchange Dante realized, Taka wasn't slow. He had just gotten faster.
Taka recovered quickly and stepped back to disengage from Dantes punch, then he stepped forward and ducked, kicked at Dantes legs.
Dante jumped over the kick and as soon as he landed he hit Taka with a two hook combo, one to Taka's left cheek and one to his right. Taka dodged the first hit, but he was too slow to dodge the second hit.
Using the moment for the second hit, Taka spun around and jumped and kicked Dante on his right cheek.
Dante was hit hard, he was rattled but he pressed forward and hit Taka with an upper cut just as he landed.
Taka's kick was pure instinct, once he landed he was punched on the chin with an upper cut. He was thrown back a couple feet but he got back up.
Dante was surprised, he thought Taka would be out with that hit.
That's enough for today, you win Dante.
Taka said as he fell to one knee.
Alright Taka. I'll see you again.
Dante said as he left.
Dante knew Taka was a good fighter, just based on him being hit.
Dante was much faster than before, but Taka was still able to hit him.
I'll go check on Haro and the others, I'll spar with them as well and then I'll start practicing my jutsu.
