Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Rage Of Vengeance

Yamato turned slowly, his calm face betraying the storm inside. His eyes glowed a piercing blue, tears of blood sliding down his cheeks.

The man before him stepped boldly into the firelight. "I am Sen Bo Ra's husband," he declared coldly. "And the Koruzan law is clear: whosoever shelters a bounty hunter shall face punishment."

Yamato bowed his head, his voice trembling with grief. "Why? Why… why did you kill them? Even the little girl…"

The man's eyes narrowed. "As part of the Adams, what must be done will always be done."

Something in Yamato snapped. In an instant, rage propelled him forward at a speed he didn't even know he possessed.

His leg shot upward, striking the man's face and blasting him across the street into another building. The ground shook as dust and debris filled the air.

But when the dust cleared, Yamato's heart sank. The man stood unscathed, arms crossed.

"Yamato Ishida," the man said, his voice heavy with recognition. "The Six Eyes. My wife was clever to hide one of your eyes… it made you harder to detect."

"Don't mention her!" Yamato roared,

dashing toward him.

Flames erupted from the man's hands, forming a massive torrent Yamato couldn't escape. The fire swallowed him, burning his flesh, hurling him to the ground.

Yamato coughed, barely able to move.

The world blurred, fading to black as the pain dragged him into his subconscious.

In the void, two glowing orbs appeared, his blue eyes, and a fourth, far more menacing: the Eye of War.

A deep, thunderous voice echoed. "Touch me… and I shall protect you."

Back in reality, the man closed in, kicking Yamato down mercilessly, then driving flaming fists into the earth. "You Six Eyes are all the same.... weak, worthless! Die like the rest!"

At that moment, Yamato's trembling hand reached out and touched the orb.

A surge of power exploded through him.

His eyes turned a dark navy blue, his aura swelling so violently that the man stumbled back, sweat dripping down his forehead.

Moments later, Yamato's vision cleared... and the battlefield was silent.

The enemy lay dismantled, torn apart by a power Yamato didn't fully understand.

He stared at his trembling hands, horrified. "So this… is the God of War? I… I must never use this again."

Shaking, he gathered the charred remains of Sen Bo Ra and her daughter, burying them gently beneath a tree. He knelt, mourning them with tears that fell endlessly.

As the sun sank, a warm hand touched his cheek. Yamato looked up, and froze.

Sen Bo Ra stood before him, her daughter at her side, bathed in a soft glow. "It's not your fault," she said gently. "Live on, Yamato. You still have a long road ahead… Thank you, once more."

Her figure slowly faded, carried away like mist in the evening breeze.

Yamato bowed his head, a single tear trailing down his cheek. Then, with a faint smile, he rose.

And walked forward.

Yamato wiped his tears with the back of his hand and reached for his wrapped sword, the weight grounding him once again.

The landlady appeared from the corner, shouting furiously into her phone.

Her voice carried through the ruined streets. "Look at my house! Look at the destruction! Who's going to pay for this?!"

Yamato quietly approached, handing her a transfer slip. "This should cover it."

Her eyes widened. "A… a million dollars?!" In an instant, her rage softened. Her tone flipped as though nothing had happened. "Well, accidents… happen. Thank you kindly, young man. You're very responsible."

Yamato said nothing, adjusting the headband over his eye. He turned and walked away, the echoes of Sen Bo Ra's last words heavy in his heart.

Moments later, several members of The Adams arrived, alerted by the destruction.

They scanned the battlefield, their eyes sharp.

One crouched, pressing his palm into the ground. His voice dropped in disbelief. "This isn't just damage… this is a crater spanning an entire plot of land. The energy density here… it doesn't feel human."

Another whistled low. "If someone did this, they're no ordinary fighter."

Suddenly, one of their devices buzzed. A member picked up. "Yeah? What's the situation?"

The voice on the other end belonged to the Super Tag Force. "We think the Six Eyes is involved."

The air turned heavy. Every Adam froze.

"What did you just say?" one whispered, his face paling.

"The signature matches. Yamato Ishida… the Six Eyes," the caller repeated.

"That's impossible," another muttered, panic creeping into his tone. "The Six Eyes was wiped out years ago. There's no way there's another!"

The oldest among them clenched his fist. "Unless… he awakened through some means we don't understand."

A silence fell, broken only by the wind whistling through the broken ruins.

"Enough," one finally said. "We return to headquarters. The Boss must hear this."

And in the blink of an eye, the group vanished, scattering into the shadows.

Back at the headquarters, the air was heavy with tension.

Rumors of the "reborn Six Eyes" had spread like wildfire among the Koruzan soldiers. The Adams' first core was in chaos, everyone whispering, speculating, fearing.

At the center of it all, seated calmly at a wide oak table, was their boss: Hyung Hun.

He wasn't too old, but his sharp eyes and the weight of years in battle made him seem like a man carved from stone.

His fingers tapped rhythmically against the table as he listened to the reports.

Finally, he rose.

His voice was calm, but it cut through the murmurs like a blade:

"Enough. If this is truly the birth of a new Six Eyes… then I'll deal with it myself."

The room went dead silent.

But Hyung Hun continued, "I won't go alone. I will take with me two from the Super Tag Force of the third core."

A hush swept the soldiers as two names were called:

Shingo Kageyoshi- the prodigy. Known for his unmatched discipline, calm aura, and razor-sharp mind, Shingo was the pride of the Super Tag Force. Every strike of his blade was deliberate, every word measured.

Fate Hisugaya- his opposite. A rascal at heart, wild in battle and shamelessly charming with women.

Fate's unpredictability made him dangerous to both enemies and allies, but his bond with Shingo kept his chaos in check.

Together, they were unstoppable.

Hyung Hun gave a faint grin. "Shingo, Fate, prepare yourselves. We hunt the boy called Yamato."

Fate smirked, leaning back casually, "Finally, some action. Hope this Six Eyes kid isn't boring."

Shingo simply adjusted his blade, eyes narrowing. "If the legends are true… boring is the last word you'll use."

The three men stepped out of the headquarters. Their footsteps echoed like thunder, as if the entire world knew the hunt for Yamato had begun.
