"Understood."
Felix smiled at Keqing's decisiveness. He loved customers who bought ten jars at once.
After taking the Mora, Felix lined up the jars on the counter. Keqing, with her slender, jade-like fingers, tapped each jar in succession.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
A series of cracks echoed as the jars shattered. An item fell out of each one.
She stopped after tapping the first five.
Five items from five jars.
Looking at the five strange objects, Keqing glanced at Felix with anticipation.
"No books, huh?"
Ningguang sighed softly to herself. Not a single book. Not even a Devil Fruit.
She had hoped Keqing would pull something as game-changing as she did.
Meanwhile, Felix looked at the items and raised an eyebrow. Keqing's luck was pretty good—no empty jars.
But the items themselves weren't exactly top-tier.
[Sweet Apple]: A very sweet apple with a seemingly special effect.
[Electro Sword Art Scroll]: A sword training scroll from an unknown world.
[Xiang Piao Piao Milk Tea]: A powdered milk tea beverage.
[Senzu Bean]: A bean grown by an immortal from an unknown world. Rapidly restores stamina and spirit.
[Umbrella That Makes It Rain]: When opened, water drips from it. A seemingly useless but actually very useful water supply tool.
Meeting Keqing's curious gaze, Felix smiled. "The first item is an apple. Compared to Liyue's Sunsettias, this one is much sweeter and juicier. Purely for your eating pleasure."
"Likewise, this is milk tea, a powdered drink. It tastes quite good, but it's also just for your eating pleasure."
Hearing this, Keqing's brow furrowed slightly. Just ordinary food?
Even if she had never seen them before, items with no special effects were of little interest to her. Compared to what Ningguang had pulled, this was disappointing.
She turned her attention to the remaining items. "What about this scroll? What's written on it?"
She recognized the Senzu Bean—Ningguang had one too. The umbrella looked ordinary.
The only items of potential value were the Senzu Bean and the strange scroll.
"You already know about the Senzu Bean, so I won't repeat myself."
Felix picked up the umbrella from the counter and smiled. "This isn't an ordinary umbrella. This is an umbrella that makes it rain when you open it."
Keqing: "????"
Ningguang: "????"
Both of them stared blankly, utterly confused.
What did that even mean? An umbrella was for blocking rain, not creating it.
"No matter where you are, if you open this umbrella, water will drip from it."
Felix explained. "It might seem useless, but it's an excellent water supply tool. It provides a constant, unending source of water. If you're ever traveling through a desert, or on a long expedition, it's quite useful."
"Imagine you're in a remote place and feeling thirsty. Just open the umbrella. And it still works to block actual rain. For an adventurer, it's a very practical tool."
"Huh????"
Keqing's expression was a mixture of confusion and disbelief.
Such a bizarre item existed?
Even Ningguang was baffled. If it created water, where did the water come from?
It couldn't be from thin air.
Nothing could be created from nothing. There had to be a source.
This umbrella sounded... magical.
"Shopkeeper, you say this is a water supply tool. Where does the water come from?"
Keqing looked at Felix and the umbrella with suspicion. "It can't just be creating it from nothing, can it?"
"It is created from nothing. An endless, inexhaustible supply."
Felix nodded. "Don't doubt it. It's meant to be illogical. You can open it and try."
He handed the umbrella to Keqing. These kinds of items were meant to break the rules of reality. Being absurd was their function.
Keqing fell silent. He didn't seem to be joking.
Could such a thing really exist? She didn't think Felix would lie to her; there was no reason to.
A second later, she took the umbrella and opened it.
Snap!
The moment the canopy opened, a soft drip, drop sound began.
Water materialized out of thin air above the umbrella, then dripped down the sides.
Keqing and Ningguang stared, and despite being mentally prepared, they both looked as if they had seen a ghost.
The rain... it really did come from nowhere.
