Chapter 57 - Chapter 57: Aglaea: The seventh day of wanting Oliver’s blessing—

Reality, Amphoreus, Okhema.

A disturbance had just ended here.

It was the dependants of the Titan of Strife, who had stormed into the holy city, causing destruction and slaughter everywhere.

"Fortunately, this calamity was not severe. It should just be a probe from Nikador."

Aglaea closed her eyes, using her Golden Silk to scout the entire city.

Ever since the Strife Titan went mad, Nikador would send its dependents to harass Okhema from time to time.

She had grown accustomed to it.

"I'm afraid Nikador will launch a full-scale attack on Okhema in just a few years. We must obtain the Strife's Kindling before then."

Castorice stood behind Aglaea, her expression not looking good.

When she saw people getting injured and dying, she couldn't help but feel sad.

Over the millennia, she had witnessed too many deaths and personally sent many lives on their way.

"Nikador, he is Kephale's mortal enemy. As a god, he has now begun to act like a beast."

A handsome man with white hair sighed with a solemn expression. "693"

He was Phainon, one of the Chrysos Heirs.

"The rear is safe now. This wasn't satisfying at all."

At this moment, a burly man, wearing only half a shirt and exposing half of his chest, slowly walked over, dragging a Strife soldier in his hand.

His face bore a confident, even arrogant, smile.

"Mydei, if you had your fill, how many civilians would be casualties?"

Phainon spread his hands, provocation written all over his face.

"You're too weak, Deliverer. If you were strong enough, there wouldn't be any civilian casualties."

Mydei immediately retorted, his face also showing provocation.

"Enough, you two, quiet down."

Aglaea stopped their quarrel.

Both were Chrysos Heirs and important figures in the flame chase journey, both operating under Aglaea's leadership.

"Aglaea! Little Die, Little Bai, Little Dei, we're back!"

At this moment, four people opened a series of Hundred Realms Gates.

Tribbie, Trianne, and Trinnon appeared first.

Then a large group of Little Tribbie emerged.

Seeing so many Hundred Realms Gates, everyone was surprised.

"My Teacher, is it really okay for you to open gates like this?"

Aglaea's face showed worry.

Although she knew My Teacher had a fortuitous encounter and had become much stronger, opening gates always incurred a cost, so she couldn't help but worry.

"Dear Little Tribbie, please take care of yourselves. Try to avoid opening unnecessary Hundred Realms Gates."

Castorice said softly.

They were genuinely concerned because Tribbie and the others had shown kindness to everyone here.

"It's fine! With Oliver Big Brother's blessing, I don't feel any consumption at all! Hehe!"

Trianne laughed.

Trinnon nodded.

The other Little Tribbie also chimed in.

Tribbie looked at the many versions of herself, realizing they took up too much space.

So, after a flash of light, the many Little Tribbie recombined into the tall and beautiful Tiresias.

"Everyone, don't worry. Now I can truly open gates at will."

Tiresias's tone returned to that of an adult woman.

Then she walked up to Castorice and took Castorice's hand.

Everyone saw that after Tiresias's hand touched Castorice's, it began to annihilate into butterflies.

This was Castorice's innate curse.

It caused any living creature that touched her to die, annihilating into butterfly-shaped specks of light.

What was astonishing, however, was Tiresias.

The moment her hand annihilated, it rapidly regenerated, completely unafraid of Castorice's death curse.

Phainon showed an envious expression and said, "That's wonderful! If I had Teacher Tiresias's self-healing ability, I'd go solo Nikador."

Mydei heard this and couldn't help but sneer, "Heh, not everyone gets a fortuitous encounter. I'm immortal, why don't you envy me?"

It was well known that Mydei possessed the trait of immortality.

Even if he died, he would revive after a while.

But Phainon would not admit he was envious.

"Heh, when you die, you still need time to revive. Look at Teacher Tiresias, she can't die at all."

Phainon retorted with an equally cold sneer.

The two glared at each other, neither willing to concede.

Aglaea also gave up trying to mediate, letting them bicker.

It was My Teacher's special ability that truly concerned her.

To be unafraid even of Castorice's death power could only mean that Oliver's blessing was stronger than Castorice's curse.

If all Chrysos Heirs possessed this blessing, why would they worry about not obtaining the Kindling?

Thinking about how long the flame chase journey had been, they had barely obtained half of the Titan Kindling.

Sigh~ It was the seventh day of wanting Oliver's blessing.

"Lady Tiresias, you don't have to do this."

Castorice spoke with guilt.

Tiresias, however, smiled and comforted her, "It's alright, this power should be used like this."

Upon hearing Tiresias's words, Castorice couldn't help but shed tears.

She had been born with a curse, unable to touch others since childhood.

Things like holding hands, hugging, and intimacy were all luxuries.

Everyone she had touched had died, without exception.

It was truly thanks to Oliver, who bestowed such divine power, allowing her to finally have contact with people.

But she knew that even if Tiresias wouldn't die, she would still feel the pain of annihilation. Every second of contact with her was a bone-scraping torment for Tiresias.

Castorice released Tiresias's hand and choked out, "It's enough, Lady Tiresias, I am already content. Please don't bear any more pain for my sake."

Tiresias smiled gently and said softly, "If it were Oliver Big Brother, he would surely be like me, holding your hand, embracing you, so that you would no longer be so lonely."

"Because he is just that gentle of a person."

Everyone saw the light in Tiresias's eyes and understood in their hearts that this demigod was truly in love.

"Why do I smell a sour odor of love?"

Phainon scratched his head.

This joke, however, was met with a cold glare from Aglaea.

"It's a sweet scent, don't get it wrong."

Aglaea resolutely defended My Teacher's beautiful image.

Suddenly.

Castorice felt her eyelids incredibly heavy, very sleepy.

She was also muttering something.

"Styxia... Death Titan... Polyxenia..."

Tiresias was the first to react, immediately leaning closer to check her condition.

Phainon: "What's wrong? What happened?"

Mydei: "Is she just too tired and fell asleep?"

Aglaea: "No, the Golden Silk's sensation has disappeared. It seems she has also entered that Mysteriousness state."

Just as Aglaea had guessed.

Tiresias reached out to touch Castorice, only to find that she couldn't touch her at all.

She was like a non-existent phantom.

The same state as Tribbie, Trianne, and Trinnon before.

And after that 3.8 state, Tiresias gained power, power from outside the world.

"It must be Oliver, I deduce that Oliver chose Castorice; this is her opportunity," Aglaea said calmly.

Phainon breathed a sigh of relief; it was good that Castorice was fine.

Then he sighed again, "Alas, why didn't he choose me?"

Aglaea sent Phainon and Mydei to help the citizens.

She and Tiresias remained where they were to look after Castorice.

At this moment, Castorice had a dream.

She dreamt that after Aedilia was destroyed, she wandered alone on the land of Amphoreus.

She encountered conflict and death again and again.

And in this dream, she had just used her own hands to send off a thousand fallen soldiers.

Physically and mentally exhausted, she came to an empty riverbank, took off her clothes, and prepared to wash away the dust from her body.
