"Hey," Harry whispered to Pietro as the others began arguing. "would you mind?" Harry said as he gestured to the cradle with his head. Pietro smirked before he began zooming around and unplugging every thing he could.
"No, go on," Pietro said when he stopped, the cradle began losing power. "you were saying." Any further response was cut off by the sound of a gunshot, the glass that Pietro was standing upon shattered and he fell down to the ground below.
"Pietro!" Wanda screamed, she looked down the to the ground below and saw Pietro lying on the floor with Clint standing above him with a gun aimed at Pietro, Clint had also made sure to place a foot on Pietro's leg to prevent him from getting up.
"What? You didn't see that coming?" Clint grinned.
"I'm rerouting the upload." Tony said.
"For fuck sakes Tony." Harry said under his breath before he raised his wand.
"Wait, stop!" Bruce shouted.
One Iron Man gauntlet flew to Tony's hand, he fired a blast at Harry who easily blocked with a magical shield just as everyone else arrived.
"What the hell is going on here?!" Steve demanded to know. Just as Harry and Tony aimed their weapons at each other.
The fighting was interrupted as Thor came into the room, all eyes turned to him, Thor didn't say anything, instead he quickly jumped on top of the cradle.
"Thor?" Harry asked but he wasn't given a verbal response, Thor raised his hammer and summoned lightning to it.
"Wait!" Banner said but was ignored as Thor thrust his lightning down and began charging up the cradle. Once he was done the cradle exploded open, sending Thor flying back, a purple creature came out of the cradle. Human shaped with a yellow stone on it's forehead, Ultron's perfect body.
It looked around for several seconds before its eyes landed on Thor who had just got back to his feet, it lunged at Thor, Thor caught it and tossed it away. It flew through one of the glass windows in the lab but stopped before it crashed into the penthouse windows. It began looking at it's own reflection just as everyone arrived in the penthouse, preparing for a fight. When Thor arrived in the penthouse he put Mjolnir down on a table before he gestured for the others to stand down.
"I'm sorry," Ultron's creation said as he flew back down to the floor and his body changed into a green colour. "that was odd." He said and Harry easily recognized Jarvis's voice.
"Thor, you helped create this thing?" Steve asked as the creation sprouted a cape and wrist gauntlets after looking at Thor.
"Yeah, do you mind explaining which concussion was responsible for this?" Harry asked.
"I've had a vison." Thor said. "A whirlpool that sucks in all hope of life and at its center was that." Thor pointed to the gem in the creations forehead.
"What is it?" Harry asked.
"It's the mind stone, one of six infinity stone," Thor answered. "the greatest powers in the universe, unparalleled in its destructive capabilities. It's the second one we have dealt with." Thor said as he looked at Harry. "You might remember the one that we dealt with with Jane."
"The Aether." Harry realized.
"Yes, but what it actually is, is the reality stone." Thor corrected.
"But why would you give it to…" Steve trailed off and gestured to the creation.
"Because Stark was right." Thor replied.
"Oh shit." Harry cursed under his breath.
"Oh it's definitely the end of time." Bruce said out loud while Padfoot let out a sad whine.
"Okay… feelings." Tony said as he placed a hand on his chest.
"The Avengers cannot beat Ultron." Thor said.
"Not alone." The creation spoke next.
"Why does your vision sound like Jarvis?" Steve asked.
"We reconfigured Jarvis's matrix to create something new." Tony explained.
"I thought Jarvis was destroyed." Gwen frowned.
"Apparently not," Bruce replied. "it was Jarvis who was stopping Ultron from accessing the nuclear codes. Tony found him and placed him back together again."
"And then you both put him in this machine?" Sif asked in a questioning tone as she gestured to the creation.
"That's right," Tony nodded. "Ultron built his perfect body, we placed the perfect operator in it. As great as Ultron could have been, but without all of his flaws. This is the new and improved."
"Yes but define 'new'." Harry said as he looked at the creation with narrowed eyes. "Are we dealing with Jarvis or an Ultron 2.0?"
"You think I'm a child of Ultron?" The creation asked, his tone didn't suggest frustration or anger. It was more curious than anything else.
"Are you?" Harry raised an eyebrow.
"I am not Ultron, I am not Jarvis either… I am… Vision." Vision replied.
"I looked in your head and saw annihilation." Wanda said.
"Look again." Vision replied.
"Her seal of approval means jack to me." Barton scoffed.
"Their powers," Thor gestured to the Maximoff twins, "Ultron himself even, they all came from the mind stone. With it on our side…"
"Is it?" Natasha asked. "Is it really on our side?"
"I don't think it's that simple." Vision replied.
"It never is." Gwen scoffed.
"Well, I am going to make it simple." Harry said as he stepped in front of Vision. "I want to know whose side you are on and if you don't want to be reduced to scrap metal then I would advise answering quickly." Harry finished, his eyes flashing green as the tip of his wand briefly glowed red.
"I am on the side of life," Vision calmly replied, seemingly not bothered by Harry's attitude. "Ultron isn't. He wishes to end it."
"That much is clear." Sif replied.
"But he hasn't done it yet." Natasha noted. "What is he waiting for?" She asked.
"You." Vision replied. "All of you, he is waiting for the Avengers."
"Where?" Bruce asked.
"I… I think I know." Wanda said in a quiet voice, everyone looked at her. "He had mentioned Sokovia, it's where we are from and I saw glimpses of it when I read…" She gestured to Vision. "… his mind."
"How do we know she's not lying?" Barton asked.
"She is not." Harry replied.
"But how do we know?" Bruce asked. "We can't trust her."
"Then trust me," Harry replied. "because I trust her, at least enough to help take out Ultron."
"Why?" Natasha asked.
