"So you were not intending to come to Kamar Taj?" She asked, looking mildly surprised.
"Kamar Taj? I suppose that I am currently in 'Kamar Taj' then." Harry guessed.
"You are correct, many come here, searching for one thing or another. Why have you come here?"
"I was planning to pay respects to the dead before you decided to bother me." Harry replied before he suddenly waved his wand over her. "You're not magical." Harry frowned.
"No, no I am not." She shook her head.
"Yet you can do magic?"
"Yes, though I do not believe in the same way as you." She replied. "I harness different types of energies to manipulate one or more aspects of the infinite realities that are present within the Multiverse. It is a bit complicated to explain, would you like some tea?" She asked as a cup of tea appeared in her hand.
"I can make my own drink." Harry said as he waved his wand and a mug of butterbeer appeared, he took a sip before he gestured her to continue.
"Impressive," The Ancient One commented. "now as a sorceress I am able to harness various energies, the three main ones are personal energies, universal energies and dimensional energies. Each different energy allows me different abilities. For example personal energy from my own life force allows me to do things such as astral projection, telekinesis and telepathy. It is rather limited in comparison to others. Universal energy, energy from this very dimension, allows other ability's such as creating energy weapons. Finally there is dimensional energy which quite simply allows me to harness power from other dimensions. You have caught my interest because the energy I detect in you is a combination of all three, it seems connected to your body and this dimension yet I feel it originates from another dimension. I can see that you… you come from another dimension, do you not?"
"I don't see how that is any of your business." Harry narrowed his eyes at her.
"I have another title," She said in a calm but powerful voice. "I am the 'Sorcerer Supreme', I protect this dimension and reality from all mystical threats and dangers including those from over dimensions. Are you a danger?"
"Everybody and everything is a danger, off the top of my head I can think of five ways to kill a person with that cup in your hands." Harry replied. "But I don't actively go out and seek to spill my blood with the innocent if that is what you mean. I came to this world by accident."
"Oh, and how did that happen?"
"Experiment gone wrong." Harry said, slightly quicker than he intended to. "I've been on this world for years, I have only hurt people in self defense until recently, I now work with the government."
"Let me guess, they send you out to 'get rid of messes'?" She asked, disapproval in her voice. She would have said more but was interrupted by a growl from Padfoot.
"I am not a weapon that they can target at any and everyone they want," Harry's voice was lower than before, he knew what she was thinking, he didn't need mind reading to know that she thought he allowed himself to be an attack dog that they could use and discard whenever they want. "I don't just kill and when I do kill I do my own research," Harry tapped the side of his head and the Ancient One's eyes widened slightly in realization. "I don't hurt the innocent, and I do not work FOR them, I work with them. I refuse any jobs I don't want and they can't do anything about that."
"Why work for them? Why not say hidden?" She asked.
"My reasons are my own." Harry said in a firm tone.
"I am afraid that I…" The Ancient One was cut off as a black skinned man wearing green robes burst into the room. "Mordo?" The Ancient One asked. "What are you…"
"We have a problem!" The man, apparently called 'Mordo', said quickly. "The armor, it's awake. The armor has awoken!" Mordo nearly shouted out the last part.
"That is impossible!" The Ancient One's face briefly looked worried before she got up and followed Mordo out. Harry and Padfoot looked at each other, after a couple of seconds of silence and an unspoken 'fuck it', they both stood up and followed after Mordo and the Ancient One.
The two followed Mordo and the Ancient One into another room, in the room there was a variety of objects. Some looked perfectly normal, but Harry could tell it was all magical. With this many magical artefacts it was hard not to feel the magic in the air.
When Harry and Padfoot stopped it was to see the Ancient One and Mordo standing in a fighting stance, a holographic looking orange circle in each of their hands. Harry was tempted to ask about it but realized that now was not the time as they had to deal with the elephant in the room which in this case was a suit of armour trying to break out of a glass case.
The suit in question was a beautifully designed grey armour that covered everything from foot to shoulders, connected to the shoulders was a black cloak that went down to the back of the thighs. The arms were black but the shoulders were covered by a piece of armour connecting to the body armour while the forearms and upper hands were covered by grey gauntlets that matched the armour. On the middle of the chest was a small grey symbol, a lighter grey than the rest of the armor, the symbol was of a bird spreading its wings, the symbol was also on each of the arm gauntlets.
