Evelyn ran to the bubble tea shop and dragged Yvette, who was not far behind her, to sit down. Then she bought a drink for Yvette as well.
"Yvette," Evelyn whispered, "there's something I've always wanted to ask you."

"Yesterday! After I ran out first, did my brother say anything to you?" Evelyn asked quietly, "That doll, was it him who told you to give it to me?"
"Yes," Yvette simply replied with one word.
"Then..." Evelyn furrowed her brows, "Did he say anything else at the time?"
