Evelyn hesitated, not knowing what to do.
Although she had always felt that L had no intention of harming her, knowing that L and Caden Lockwood were enemies, she couldn't just rely on her intuition to trust L anymore.
"What is your relationship with my brother?" Evelyn asked cautiously, "You say you're going to meet my brother, should I really believe that? If it's really my brother, why can't I tell Caden?"
There was a moment of silence on the other end of the phone.
Evelyn held her breath, able to hear her own heart beating wildly, "thump thump."
She waited for that answer.
"I am your brother." L finally spoke, his voice carrying a strong sense of oppression.
Hearing that, Evelyn's eyes froze, she couldn't quite believe what L had said.
But actually, it seemed like she had long suspected that L was her brother.
Evelyn was stunned, upon learning the truth, she found herself unable to say a word.
