"Then what should I do?" Evelyn asked helplessly, "I don't know what to do! I really don't know!"
"If even you don't know, how would others know?" Yvette asked, "Whatever needs to be done, you have to decide for yourself."
Upon hearing this, Evelyn's lips awkwardly twitched.
Her heart felt heavy, completely lost about her future.
The car fell silent again, Evelyn didn't dare to cry out loud.
She felt as though if she cried too miserably, she'd start believing certain things.
After all, she hadn't even asked Caden yet!
What if Caleb was lying to her?
Perhaps, Caden didn't want her heart at all!
"Let's go back to the villa." Evelyn whispered, "I'll wait for Caden to return and then ask him."
Yvette nodded and handed the bunny plush back to Evelyn, comforting her, "Everything will get better."
Evelyn nodded, looking at Yvette through tearful eyes, then hugged the plush tightly, curling up in the corner of the back seat, feeling as though she was abandoned by the world.
