James Lockwood looked at Shannon Dunn, then at Caden Lockwood, and finally his gaze fell on the evidence in his hand.
The office suddenly grew quiet, with only the sound of their breathing left.
James Lockwood was the first to break the silence, "Shannon Dunn, you'd better give me a reasonable explanation!"
"Madam, let's leave first," Caden Lockwood spoke up at this moment.
"Caden!" James Lockwood called to him, "Don't you intend to stay and hear Shannon Dunn's explanation?"
"The Chairman can handle it," Caden Lockwood's tone remained devoid of any emotion, "I don't want to spend any more time on such a woman."
With that, Caden Lockwood took Evelyn Morgan's hand and left.
Only after they returned to Caden Lockwood's office did Evelyn Morgan take a deep breath, feeling her breathing become much smoother.
