When Holly Sawyer woke up, it was already the next morning. She rubbed her eyes and looked around, bewildered by her surroundings.
How did she end up back here?
She clearly remembered going to The Pantheon and visiting Diana Curtis. Why was she back home?
"Awake now, time for breakfast."
Leo Grant brought in breakfast, placing it on the table beside the bed. He looked at Holly with a soft smile on his lips.
Breakfast was wontons, steaming hot.
Holly sat up, baffled. She looked at Leo with confusion written all over her face, her eyes filled with questions.
So strange.
She remembered getting a call from Walter Bennett yesterday and rushing out. She had no recollection of returning home. How did she end up back home?
"What's wrong?"
Seeing Holly's dazed expression, Leo chuckled lightly and gently ruffled her hair, his voice exceptionally gentle.
"How did I get back?"
Holly lightly bit her lip and asked Leo.
"Why ask that?"
"Of course, my Holly came home on her own."
