Luna Sutton came out of the kitchen and saw Kian Sterling holding Zora, the little fox with fiery red fur contrasting with his snow-white beast robe, looking like a beautiful painting.
"Finished talking?"
Kian Sterling gently stroked his daughter's fluffy red fur with his palm, a warm smile in his fox-like eyes.
Zora rolled over in his arms, revealing her furry belly, and "aowooed" at Luna Sutton.
She nodded, stepped forward and took Zora from Kian Sterling's arms, and the little fox instantly fluttered excitedly in her embrace.
Obviously very fond of Matron.
"No, you interrupted us."
She said mischievously while teasing the little fox in her arms.
Kian Sterling's smile slightly faded on hearing her, a trace of unnaturalness appeared on his face, "I didn't mean to interrupt."
His voice was gentle, with a hint of apology, as if he truly didn't do it intentionally.
Luna Sutton looked at him, her expression complex.
