The faces of the four Ascendants of the Black Marsh Pond changed, yet they dared not utter a word of objection.
The arrays on the east and west edges are the most remote and prone to surprise attacks. Previously, when Master Mo Chen was in charge, he arranged the cultivators of Qinglan Sect on the edges. Now, Li Ji'an simply returns to the original arrangement.
"We obey." The four could only bow and accept the command talismans, their hearts full of frustration.
Then, Li Ji'an took out two more command talismans and handed them to the two Ascendants of Qinglan Sect: "You two will oversee the main array, commanding the core defenses and directing the supply of spiritual resources."
"Thank you, Chang'an Ascendant!" The two Ascendants of Qinglan Sect were overjoyed and quickly accepted the orders.
The main array is the safest and most central position on the defense line, and the ability to control the allocation of spiritual resources is undoubtedly a great trust and privilege.
